Herschel has called abortion "murder." This is more than just changing positions. This is extreme. That’s not even the problem with Walker though. People change their stances over time. Hillary Clinton used to be a Republican.
The problem is we’ve completely traded ability to serve for electability. That’s how we get a Preacher vs a mentally disabled football hero running for the US Senate. It’s mind numbing.
I once nearly walked into the path of an oncoming car. That doesn’t mean I forfeit the right to tell you to look both ways when you cross the street.Herschel has called abortion "murder." This is more than just changing positions. This is extreme.
I hope he wins too. It just amazes me that we’re in a world where he’s the better alternative lol. It shows how whackadoodle the Democrat Party has gone nationally.
That’s what’s weird about this. This is like a House race. I can’t ever remember two guys with less business holding office facing each other for a Senate seat. (Except for what’s happening in Pennsylvania right now lol)The Senate could use some extreme zealots. Why should Congress have all the fun?
Herschel Walker is running as a Pro-Life hardliner, who is in favor of abortion bans without exceptions made for rape and incest. He has even likened abortion to murder ... But he paid for his girlfriend's abortion???
Even by the standards of politicians, that is an epic level of hypocrisy that you don't often see. I don't think we are finished with these October surprises for Herschel either. There is definitely more to come.
That is an absurdly drawn false equivalency.I once nearly walked into the path of an oncoming car. That doesn’t mean I forfeit the right to tell you to look both ways when you cross the street.
I get what you’re saying. But the hypocrisy bus left town a long time ago when it comes to politics.

You failed to exercise due caution once, and learned from your mistake. You are now passing along the lessons you learned from that bad experience to others. That is not hypocrisy.
During his 2022 Senate campaign, Herschel Walker has described abortion as "a woman killing her baby," and then said that he doesn't understand how a Baptist pastor like Raphael Warnock can support it ... but he paid for an abortion in 2009? That is about as hypocritical as a politician can get.
You left out part of the context. He said he couldn't understand how a Baptist preacher could support abortion.Herschel Walker is still a hypocrite for saying that he didn't understand how Raphael Warnock could support abortion, without disclosing his own history of financially assisting an abortion.

He did not say he couldn't understand how a Heisman Trophy winner could support abortion, which would definitely be hypocritical.
I know my feelings and thoughts about abortion changed since I was a young man. You would probably call me a hypocrite as well and perhaps you'd be right, but i don't think so. I simply do not see things the same way I did years ago.
During his 2022 Georgia Senate campaign, Herschel Walker has described an abortion as being "a woman killing her baby." With such a harsh choice of words, Herschel Walker is effectively criticizing every woman who has ever had an abortion. Walker is a hypocrite for doing so, without disclosing his own personal history of financially assisting an abortion in 2009. That was just 13 years ago. There is no way that he had forgotten about it.You left out part of the context. He said he couldn't understand how a Baptist preacher could support abortion.
