Heupel calls for the noise!

That along with Eric Ainge calling Sanford a “tea and crumpets crowd” had that place crazy. What an imbecile
Yeah, Ainge didn’t didn’t do the Vols any favors for that game. It absolutely made a difference in that game. TN with Hooker was extremely good and had at the very least a punchers chance in that game with probably the best offense in the country. Ainge’s comments made it much tougher in my opinion. Also the second half weather made it almost impossible against a very good defense.

I loved the build up to that game though, it was incredible. I hope our programs see many like it in the future. I think with Kirby and Huepel there is a great chance we see many good games in the future.

One more thing, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried about my Dawgs playing in Neyland this season. It was pointed out how Sanford was so loud and caused some problems for the Vols last season. This certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed and isn’t forgotten. On Nov. 18 Neyland will be the loudest stadium in the country when the Dawgs have the ball. I’m hoping Beck and Co are up to the challenge, maybe so, Beck isn’t a superstar but so far he seems cool under pressure. Time will tell, but it’s a certainty that what goes around comes around I’m afraid.

We have to return the favor. USCjr certainly had an advantage playing at night last year. Hopefully our production team is making some good in-stadium hype videos and coordinated light shows to make life hell for during TV timeouts

A lot of y’all that responded to my comment took it to the next level. Not worried at all, looks like I was wrong about him requesting noise in the past. And I did not know Kirby requested some as well.
Understand. I'm pretty sure this was the second time this week he mentioned it and I got the same feeling. The irony is frequent in the FF. Overreacting to overreacting that really wasn't overreacting in the first place.

We went up 31-0 over UTSA and crowd went home. Heupel called us out then too.
Why do people leave? I don't get it. Even if it's a blowout, there's a really good chance you will be watching next year's starters.

That being said, I pretty much turned it off at halftime of the Gata game.
