Heupel Offense

That wasn't clear for you, Little?

To add someone to the roster, you have to take someone off the roster. To give a fella playing time and touches, you have to take touches and playing time away from another lad.

So I'm not picking anyone from the pre-Heupel era to play now. They had their time, and I appreciated them for what they did back then. Now, today, I'm sticking with the fellas whose playing time is now.

Pretty simple point, I thought.

Go Vols!
No.
No you don't. You're just being dramatic.

He said nothing about taking anyone away.
Purely hypothetical question lol.
But since it's opening day, you're all up in your feelings for some reason.

There was no reason to create division when the question CLEARLY didn't ask for it.

You're a little much sometimes, JP.
No offense.

Kamara
Dobbs
Patterson

Hurd wouldve also been great in this offense. He could’ve played all over the field with his hands.

Trey Smith - RG
Jason Witten - TE

Then it's a toss up between Cordarrelle Patterson and Alvin Kamara for me.

Assuming Heupel would use him as a hybrid RB/WR, I'm going with Cordarrelle.

Edit: Paul Bain at FB

Imagine the 2012 offense at full strength with Heupel.

QB - Bray
RB - Raijon Neil, Marlin Lane, Devrin Young
WR - Hunter, Patterson, Zach Rogers, Pig Howard, (let's also pretend Da'Rick doesn't get kicked off)
TE - Mychal Rivera.
Plus that O-line was nasty.

Looking back through the post Fulmer, who are your top 3 players you would have loved to have seen in Heupel’s offense? Mine are:

1) Alvin Kamara (would be a Heisman candidate)
2) Ty Chandler
3) Josh Dobbs
Any of those great RBs: Graham, Lewis, etc
Nash, Kent, etc.

I forgot all about Patterson. God, it would be a cheat code with CJH and the offensive talent we had in 2013.
