He has lost weight, and good for him. Speaking of weight and coaches Mark Mangino is the most disgusting looking coach I have ever seen. Heard that he had to use to wipe his ass with a towel, and used it like dental floss.

Being a college head coach is a very stressful job that requires a lot of travel. Traveling a lot means you’re eating out a lot. A lot of coaches are also former athletes that are used to the diet that came with being an athlete. Bad diet and stress can make you gain a bunch of weight. Look at a guy like Jim Cheney who yo-yo’d between somewhat big and morbidly obese when he was OC here. Glad to see CJH making an effort. That, or he hit a gypsy woman with his car and was cursed by her family.
That went over some heads, but I got the joke. Hahaha

Imagine growing up there in the 50s & 60s with massive air pollution. I did and a lot of women I grew up with have had breast cancer & other forms of cancer. I contribute much of it to the air quality when they were growing up.
Yup, the foundries and all of the coal fired boilers made the air a veritable particulate soup. I heard stories that office workers would sometimes take a second clean short to change into at lunch when the first one started looking soiled

Tell me about it. Without medicine I can’t eat anything.

Every time I try to wean myself off omeoprozale, I pay.

Not sure if it's available where you are, but I got off omeoprozale by drinking Crazy Water #4. I put 2 - 4 oz. in my water bottle twice a day and was off the medicine in under 10 days. My issue was H. pylori, but the guy who told me about it was suffering from gerd.

They bottle it in Ft. Worth, so it's definitely in my area. My late wife drank it when she was battling cancer because it's alkaline. Never thought of it to battle heartburn, but it makes sense from reading up on it's benefits it mentions liver and gall bladder health.

"Prolly on Ozempic "

Watch out for the side effects. I don't know what the side effects are, but the TV ad spends more time on side affects that it does on what the med actually is for. Wait, all drug ads do that .

NVM.

I really hope he's not on ozempic just to lose weight. **** costs over 1k a month here without insurance, friend of the family is dealing with PCOS and she can't afford that but it'd really help her, and buying it from Canada at a cheaper price isn't an option because Canadian pharmacies stopped shipping it to the US because of too many people using it for weight loss/killing their stock.

Weird tangent to go on in a thread I guess, but such is the off season.
