Hey Bonds...

Bonds has been a jerk his whole career. He has always treated the fans badly, so juice or no juice, I think he's getting what he deserves.

his job isn't always to be a little darling to fans or the media, especially when they give him hell... sure he ain't the nicest guy, and sure he may have done steroids.. but his job is to play baseball, and he does a damn good job

heck freaking yes

let me know next time anyone hits the third deck at the phillies stadium to come within 1 of Ruth, on a bad knee, with every media person waiting for you to strikeout

if anyone thinks it's the juice.. then go back to 1995 and pitch to him.. i wish you luck

Yes, I'm saying the competition was easier. Hank Aaron, Frank Robinson, Wilie Mays, and Bob Gibson, to name just a few, would never have gotten to play in Ruth's era.

well all of that competition is hitters
Ruth faced pitchers

1. Do a little research on Bob Gibson. 2. Okay, let's go with Marichal, Tiant, Paige, Martinez, etc.

Home run No. 713 for Barry Bonds* was caught by 25-year-old Air Force serviceman Carlos Oliveras on Sunday night in Philadelphia. Oliveras said he paid $20 for his ticket.

"Everybody was looking on the floor," Oliveras said. "The ball bounced to me. I grabbed the ball and I stuck it between my legs. Everyone was still looking around."

When the media and Phillies security discovered he caught the ball, other Phillies fans, many who spent the series jeering the sullen slugger, started yelling for him to throw the ball back.

"It made me nervous," he said.

Oliveras said he'll likely keep the ball because he is a Bonds* fan. But he would have liked Bonds* to sign it.

Bonds* said no when he was asked at his news conference if he would sign the ball. Bonds* smirked when Oliveras asked, "Will you sign my ball?" The player said nothing, but did shake Oliveras' hand and took a picture with him.

Funny though. Bonds* needed Oliveras' signature. On a waiver for the slugger's reality show.
