I met Hall in 1986 while visiting FL It was a fun trip except for FL getting beat by LSU.

I live in Missouri and have for all of my Kids' life. I've been spewing the typical Florida poor-mouthing all week, and my eldest son finally mentioned it. He said, "Dad, you must really, really hate Florida." My reply shocked even my wife:

"Son, if the demons of hell coached by Satan himself played Florida, I'd pray for a tie."

Since you want to bring up the past, Tennessee beat them 10 games in a row to start the series and prior to 1991 the Gators won just six games against Tennessee.

Remember 1990? 45-3 Vols. Biggest margin of victory in the series--until tomorrow.

Everyone keeps talking about how UF went to overtime with Kentucky and got blown out by Bama. However, we have yet to see how good Kentucky is because besides UF, they haven't really played anyone of significance. I think they are a pretty good team. Also, the Gators did put up 21 on Bama and I think any team would be hard pressed to match or beat that number. While I think we get the win, it definitely is not going to be a blowout or an "easy" win.

I say 27 to 24 Vols on top.

What I tell my Gator friends 41 to 17 Vols.

Hard to gage that Bama performance. The Tide really sputtered in the first quarter. That score made the game look closer than it actually was IMHO.
