So refreshing going into next season with momentum and so many positives. This season was definitely not expected. What a ride it was. Joe played solid first half, really good second half. He seems to have better control of his passes as well. Just think what another spring and fall camp under Hype will do for him. Great things are coming.

I appreciate Milton playing for us but he ain’t the answer. The staff needs to get Iamaleava ready for next season.

Milton is dookie. I don’t care how far he can throw an orange or how tall he is. He’s a good backup, not a starting qb.

Hooker on one leg would be better than Milton on two.

This offense just doesn't work with Milton. Wish it did, but no more proof is needed at this point.

Nico has to be feeling good about his chances next year, we may actually be looking in the portal for another QB next week

Milton looks like he did last year against Pitt. No sense of urgency, staring down receivers, late throws, etc. He’s just not an SEC level QB.

He’s had 2 good passes all game. He can’t run, big for nothing. No pocket presence. Can’t run a read.

Need to have a legit open QB competition next year. Almost tempted to look at the transfer portal.

Not mobile at all, Hooker was so great at thinking on his feet under intense pressure. Milton, not so much!

Milton has a very strong arm , but he is missing that it factor that Hooker had.

Honestly with the year Hooker had, we should’ve just put up a huge “QB VACANCY” sign on Neyland for anyone in the portal. Nobody worth their salt should be afraid of Joe Milton and the staff shouldn’t be scared of him leaving. Joe is a great human being but he just doesn’t have “it”.

If Milton is the answer, you are asking the wrong question.

Milton does not have command of the offense. Situational awareness is non existent. We’re in trouble if he’s our starter next year. I don’t know how many 3 and outs tonight but way too many. With the exception of two drives we look out of sync. Offense has no rhythm and no sustained drives. Clemson has run twice as many plays as us. Can our defense deliver the win tonight…

He played in mop up duty just like Milton did this season. Clemson playing a true freshman the entire game.

Milton is headed into his 6th year and still doesn’t get it. But oh yeah he has a huge arm. He has a huge body. He has everything but yet he isn’t a capable SEC QB. Is he an incredible athlete? Hell yes. But he isn’t and never will be an incredible quarterback.

Milton is a nightmare for defenses…OURS!

Milton is not it. He has not made good decisions. Should be running it more when no one is open.
