So Olson and Albert Haynesworth make the team? If that's the case then big Albert is going to receive a monster contract from the Titans during free agency in the offseason. Also, Amano is not as bas as you make it seem to be. This team just doesn't have a consistent running back.

They are on a skid, no doubt. But they should be given props really, because based on talent, there's no way they should have gotten to 6-2 or 6-3 (can't remember) to begin with, especially in this very competitive AFC south. I expect them to even out and end up at about 7-9. They aren't that far away from competing though really. Just need some offensive weapons.

You don't think he will?

When he lines up at his primary position (center), no. Also, it doesn't matter who we have in the backfield, defenses have been stacking 8 and sometimes 9 in the box lately. No defense is going to respect our passing game when our receivers are dropping 4 to 8 passes a game while rarely getting seperation. Drafting Paul Williams in the 3rd round wasn't going to refine our receiving core.

If you're going to blame it on an injury it's because Hall is missing. He's a great fullback, but I'm not really blaming it on injury.

Olson has been a Pro Bowl caliber guard for about a decade. You clearly have no earthly idea what you're talking about. While losing Hall was a factor, losing Olson puts our entire right side of the offensive line in jeopardy.

That's what happens when you have a quarterback who can't throw.

If he couldn't throw at all, he wouldn't be starting in the National Football League. Consistency and judicious decision making are his problems right now. It doesn't help matters that he's stuck with the worst receiving core in the league.

People who have been starters in the NFL at one point or another: Michael Vick, Mike Tomczak, Cleo Lemon, Will Furrer, Alex Smith, Drew Henson, Todd Collins, Luke McCown, David Klingler, and Anthony Wright. Just because a guy starts doesn't mean he can actually play. All the Titan personnel honks who spent all of last year patting themselves on the back for picking Young are going to spend the next five years using those same hands to wipe egg off their faces for that decision.

If they don't sign any NFL caliber receivers in the near future, that could very well be the case. However, burying him after 23 starts isn't something I'd consider just yet.

I'm not burying him after 23 starts. I've always felt he would be a bust at the NFL level.

You don't see other teams give up when they have injuries. How many people on the Colts are/were banged up? Or the Patriots? It's called depth, something the Titans have no idea how to build.

Vince can make all the throws necessary to become a legit passer in this league. I've seen it in practice, I've seen it in games, and I've been on the receiving end of several of his throws (worked with the Titans over the summer).

Chow has handicapped his progress by forcing him into ether/or reads up until the last couple of weeks. Now that they're finally opening up the playbook, it's going to take some time for he and his receivers to develop their timing (which is essential for a productive passing game). Even with 8 critical drops last monday night, Vince still managed to throw for over 300 yards and a touchdown (also rushed for 78 yards with one rushing touchdown).

It's called a salary cap. Something Floyd Reese had no business being in charge of in the first place. He left this organization in a precarious position with his personnel management (ludicrous free agent additions, leaving the cupboard empty after releasing key players because he couldn't handle salary caps.) It's going to take a few years for Reinfeldt and company to build our depth back up.

Better yet 6 points in 4 red zone appearences. Thank God for Biromas or the Titans would probably be at the cellar of the AFC South

Yeah, the Colts depth at WR hasn't hurt them at all. Injuries sure didn't play a factor when they lost to the Pats. Troy Brown played DB for the Pats. They must have done that because of all the depth at the position. Saying the Titans are crappy because they fall short of the two best teams in the league over the last several years doesn't fly.

My Jaguars won 2 of 3 straight road games with a backup QB from Florida A&M. Marcus Stroud has been out the last 3 games on a ROID suspension, all wins to (Albert Hayensworth). Mike Peterson our MLB gone for the year. Starting OLG gone for the year, and Gerald Sensabaugh from Dobins Bennet High School Kingsport TN, our starting SS was lost in preseason, so I don't feel so bad for Indy or the Titans.
