Strongly disagreeHooker is our guy so I’ll roll with him but BY would have the same numbers as HH playing in our offense. Swap qb’s last night and UT wins by 3 or 4 TD’s. No way HH could have escaped the rush that BY did. HH runs like a baby giraffe with his legs flying all over the place when he tries, usually unsuccessfully, to juke someone. It’s fine to be a homer but don’t be blind.
I agree with this!!! HH has not shown any ability at all this year or last to be able to escape the pocket and turn negative plays into positive plays.Hooker is our guy so I’ll roll with him but BY would have the same numbers as HH playing in our offense. I will just use facts to dispute this.... HH is 22nd in rushing in the SEC with a 4.8 ypr and 287 rushing yards. BY isn't even listed in the rushing stats. HH has thrown for 1817 yards with a 10.6 YPA compared to BY at 1679 and an 8.9 YPA. HH has 15/1 TD to Int while BY has 16/3 TD to Int. I think BY is a phenomenal QB and played lights out last night but the numbers are clearly in Hooker's favor here. It’s not about that. He gets tackled when guys like BY wouldn’t.
