When I first got into the oil biz in the early 80's, I moved to New Orleans from Knoxville to work for a major. The office consisted of people from all over the country. In fact, my 2 best friends were from Bama and UGA. If I limited my Friendship to people from UT, I would of had one friend, and personaly I didn't care for him much. My Bama and UGA friend and I ribbed each other all the time, especially near game day. We had allot of fun. Forty years later , we still keep in contact! ;)

I’m the same way with Bama fans😂 Live in Bama and my fiancé’s family are die hard bammers. Went with them to the Bama game this year… Pretty sure that’s the last time I’ll go to a football game with them 🤣

Started becoming a Vols fan after seeing Peyton play ucla in Pasadena CA in 1997. This is the game I finally get to see the Vols play in Knoxville. 2016 Georgia where they get blanked and lose by 41. Left half way in the 4th quarter. When I knew Knoxville would be next home around this time, I started following the Vols hard-core with coaching searches like Grudenmania and countless recruiting info hours spent. This may have been the roughest stretch as a Vols fan. Still moved here almost 2 years ago and got my redemption game against Bama last year that we went to. Ole Miss broke my heart last year. I think I paid my dues now being a Vols fan. For the record, I was groomed to be a USC Trojan fan and was all in until getting married and knowing leaving SoCal was a no Brainer and I wasn't sad about not being able to to go the Coliseum again. The magic was lost and always thought being a Vols fan appeared 100 times more fun through good and bad.

Look at that great UGA education! It is a good thing they offer subjects other than English in Athens. Looking for the Larry "Hobnail Boot" Munson call of the UT game on the Vols board? Pure genus. Genus, phylum and species :)

It's kind of satisfying to see that spelling, capitalization and punctuation haven't yet made it to Georgia.
Not that we need any more reasons to feel superior.

Surely UGA has an archive of game audio. Just play that in one media player while you play the video already shared on another.

I did over on gatorsports.com a million years ago but they did not find my brand of humor too amusing and banned me :D...I was having some fun with them but they took everything too serious...Some guy named Oxfartsmeller always got his panties in a wad and cried everytime I posted...I found it funny but he didn't and would cry to the admins all the time LOL...Good times!

I’ve been a member here since a few weeks before last season’s game in Athens. At first just to discuss the upcoming game, but I’ve visited back on and off bc some of the folks here are interesting and there are many with a good knowledge of football. I don’t mind the occasional ribbing or those that take shots at GA. I see it as fair game, I mean it’s Volnation after all. Nothing wrong with taking shots or making fun of rival teams. I’ll banter back occasionally, but I try to be ultimately respectful on another’s home turf.
