I am a teacher. I am teaching summer school and ran into our FB coach. I said so are you telling all our guys to go to UT somewhat in jest and somewhat because our school has a traditional connection to UT. UT practices on our field in Gwinnett County, GA(Gwinnett is a big football county in GA) in away UGA game years. He said I am telling them all not to go because they will get in trouble cuz that Kiffin does not know what he is doing. I said really what do you mean? He mentioned something about violations. I attempted to educate him on secondary violations and explain other coaches get them too. He said that when he was on Richt's staff they never had one. Now can someone give me exact numbers on violations and a link I can send him re:Richt? Any thoughts?

Henry County Coach- Where Marsalis played- tells his players not to go to UT. I guarantee that is one of the main reasons we did not get D. Allen.

The ones posted are good I am going to send him an email with them tomorrow--however and I am not joking he did not know how to use the email as late as the beginning second semester that would be Jan. of 2009--so I have to make it real simple for him. Anything from a few years ago when he was on staff would be great as well seeing he claims they did not even have one.

not surprising that you have to make something much simpler for a UGA fan

this isnt good. i know CLK is all about the attention being back on UT and im glad he is and i support what he is trying to do. unfortunatley, there are plenty of morons (like said coach) that do not and are so incredibly ignorant in the matters of violations, that they are willing to believe whatever they hear or see on tv/radio. we have the great "sports writers" at espn to thank for sticking us with a negative image (only reporting that UT happens to be the ONLY school in the whole nation to be in such a "mess"). kids can be impressionable, and sometimes some will buy into what their high school coaches and families say, regardless of what the truth is...

Sounds like if he isn't careful this may backfire on him. Telling a kid where to and not to go to school or who can and cannot recruit at his school can get some MAJOR heat on you. See Pahokee.

You're right Eric. This could backfire on him just like it did Gator boy at Pahokee. Hey, maybe we can get an email address for this guy too. :)

Sounds like he's not a Vol fan plain and simple. He's using that as an excuse. I live near Mempiss, I know what it's like.

Plus, when you tell an 18 year old he can't do something...what does he normally do???
