High school transfer in Tennessee mid-season has just happened from Cleveland to Bradley!

Lipscomb got 2 year no playoff penalty cause the QB from Mississippi’s family kept their house in Miss & simply rented an apt. They said it wasn’t a valid address change. Not defending Lipscomb at all here, just stating what I thought I read. This seems even more blatant case. Jmo

I've seen this type transfers back in the 70s. Well I don't know the details of this particular case. I've known quite a few in my time, parents given pretty good jobs to move to different areas. I would bet that it's gone on forever.

I never will forget my senior year (1998, I played for Unicoi County)…Hampton coach JC Campbell went absolutely ape **** to the local media about Andrew Rhinehart transferring to Elizabethton to play for Dave Rider with his grandsons Shawn and Jason Witten…

Shady ass transferring has been going on for decades…but apparently it’s legal now

Just read an article here in WV of 4 wv hs players that transferred over the weekend following season opener on Friday!
We have 2 power house 4A schools here in WV, Martinsburg and Huntington, both built on transfers.
