Speaking of sexual preference... we're talking about a 16 year old buy that enjoys rolling around with other boys and doesn't want to roll around with a 15 year old girl. Will be interesting to see how this one plays out. I foresee some experimenting in college.

Would it be sexual assault if while he was wrestling with her, he popped a tent?

lol.

Shouldn't be, she asked for it.

Plus, I remember kids on the wrestling team telling me that the coach/math teacher would pinch their junk while wrestling. It was something he taught them if they were in a bad spot. Sexual assault at it's finest. He is still a teacher as far as I know.

This reminds me of my friend's wrestling exploits. He competed in the state championships in TN in HS. Once he had to face a girl and for a joke he put her in the Saturday night ride in front of about 50 people. I missed it but I was told it was hilarious. The coach chewed him out and he had to run for it, but he said it was worth it.

I think if girls want to play with the boys, then all bets are off. If she gets destroyed, she gets destroyed.

Not sure if things have changed or if it's this way in Iowa, but girls used to be able to wrestle down a few weight classes. So that's not really hanging with anyone.

I wrestled in high school. There were several girls that wrestled. We ahd a girl that tried out my senior year. She only lasted about 3 weeks. She couldn't handle the grueling pratices. I never had to wrestle a girl but a few of my teammates did. I think the biggest fear was actually losing to a girl.

Girl wrestler Cassy Herkelman falls in first match after default win - ESPN

An Iowa high school wrestler who became the first girl to win a state tournament match when her opponent refused to face her was eliminated from contention after losing both her matches Friday.

Cedar Falls freshman Cassy Herkelman said Friday that she feels Joel Northrup was entitled to default on their Thursday match because he believes boys should not wrestle girls because it's a combat sport.

Herkelman lost 5-1 on points to Indianola's Matt Victor in their 112-pound quarterfinals match, and was pinned by Des Moines Hoover senior Jordan Jones in their consolation match.

Northrup is a home-schooled sophomore who compiled a 35-4 pre-tournament record wrestling for Linn-Mar High School. He praised Herkelman's achievements but said his religious beliefs prevented him from wrestling her.

Unfortunate. Being home schooled, I knew it was probably religious or just something his family taught him. A bunch of people on ESPN commented that he was scared to wrestle her. Pretty sure that wasn't it...

She must not be that bad if the other kid only beat her 5-1. That right there is actually a pretty embarrassing win against a girl.

I seen with my own eyes a girl from Tullahoma beat a kid from Springfield a couple of years ago!! She was pretty damn tough. But the kid in Iowa, he should had went on ahead a wrestled her. Hell he was what, 32-4 or something like that. He's better than because I like to win too much!!

First girl to ever win a tourney match in Iowa...

Kind of feel bad for her looking at the picture. That has to be a little embarrassing.
