Dupont State Forest in NC. Lots of waterfalls at this hike. There is another one that has a pool at the bottom. We didn't go to that one this time because we knew it would be massively crowded.

Got it together. The bike, not myself. Haven’t been on it since I moved here over two years ago.

I know I will miss riding the hills of the Bay Are and the mild temps.

Did about 3.5 mi on Roan Mtn today. Started raining when we got there. Waited it out and turned into a nice afternoon. Last time we did this trail my middle boy was only 5 months old and my oldest was still in a back pack carrier.

Its about 4.5 mi to Grassy Ridge Bald and back. Pretty decent elevation gain but you go up then down then up again 3 times over 3 balds which gets a little challenging for little legs. We just went a little past Jane Bald (2nd Bald). Even just going to the first bald has gorgeous 360 views. TN on the left. NC on the right.

Mental note. When you begin a bike ride in Miami at 11:30 in July, it will be really hot and you will get caught in a thunderstorm.

Biked out to the beach and then around Ft. Desoto with the wife. Well she drove out with her bike on the rack and we rode around.

Fyi, the stuff they produce can kill 25 mice at a time. But i agree, if she'd had a huge open sore or ate it, then we'd be in trouble.
