This is how she will spin it. Didn't matter where her email came from since others were required to archive their emails.

Why the need for 2 copies? I mean, based on its testimony, storage space for govt agency email is hard to come by

storage space has been lacking because of the sequestration!

I wonder if she has her own Domain with server or if she just hosts her email at Go Daddy or just a plain Gmail acct

Elections are so far off. It will be forgotten. The people that were already going to vote for her will still do so. I'm sure there will be something else in the news and nobody will remember or care.

I agree. As egregious as this is, nobody will care. This is the same sort of thing Sarah Palin was pulling when she was Governor of Alaska and it barely registered back then.

so her side is claiming that every secretary of state before her also used their personal accounts(the ones who used email of course)? That sounds far fetched.

Likely true that the others used a personal address for some communications. I find it highly unlikely that any others used it as their sole method for communication

She's the first one that didn't even have an official email address since the State Department first started utilizing email.

This is the type of thing that can sink her candidacy real quick.

Elizabeth Warren must be stoked upon hearing the news.

It does feel like she might get the same treatment Peyton did in '97 with the Heisman. Everyone gets tired of hearing about the same person so much.

This has to be illegal. Maybe in 2016 we will get an administration that follows the law, this whole regime thinks they are above the law.

I wonder if any of you have bothered to understand the basic fact that when she was in office it was okay to use personal email. It wasn't until 18 months after she left office that the requirement was made that all emails for work had to be on govt account.

I mean, pretty damn important point, don't you think?

Using unencrypted email from that office is ****ing asinine, legal or not and that speaks volumes.

I just can't see her exciting the Dem base. I think they have to nominate a female I just don't think HC can carry the ultra liberal water it takes to win the nomination.

The extreme left wing of the base doesn't like her. The establishment and moderates are all about her (and the Clinton nostalgia). Not to mention the connections, political machine, and donors they have in their back-pocket.

I would be more concerned that such emails were compromised than not being saved.

Regardless of your beliefs, Gowdy will get what he wants.

Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) told reporters on Tuesday that lawyers for the Benghazi Committee would be issuing the new requests - which he didn’t rule out could come in the form of subpoenas - to Clinton and her email providers in the coming weeks.
