i watched the first take interview he basically said he doesnt have top end speed or great moves but he compared him to emmitt who also didnt have either of those things so

Didnt Jim Brown also say Barry Sanders was 2nd or 3rd best running back of all time. Insinuating he was the best and then there was the rest. Asinine Barry Sanders is besy player at any position period. Retired in his prime.

not everybody considers sanders the best sure his highlights are nice but if somebody says jim brown or emmitt smith i dont see why their wrong

This guy is still mad because he walked away from being a star in football to be a B-movie star.

In the message to Browns President Mike Holmgren, sent to the Browns and to The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Brown says he's not at all happy with the role with the team that Holmgren has offered him, one that Brown calls a “greeter, that of a mascot.”

In the letter, Brown told Holmgren, “I don't claim to be the best at anything, and I do not need validation from any man, so I will not participate in your Ring of Honor.”

I thought his one on one videos with Adrian Peterson were brilliant. Especially when he said "I call this the top gear. Not everyone has it. You are one of the few guys who has ever had it."

Emmit Smith was a statpadder and he had pro bowlers at every position around him in his prime.

Barry Sanders had nothing but Herman Moore and Lomas Brown.

if i was emmitt i would be so sick of people talkin about the talent he played with dude gets disrespected so much for a 3 time sb champ and the all time leading rusher

i swear somebody always mentions barry sanders and the line emmitt played behind happens everytime lol like they dont remember he was a great

Exactly Emmitt kept playing to get rushing yards record. Barry walked away witj a few good years left. Barry Sanders was ultimate in humility. He wanted Sweetness to keep the record. Also Sanders said his dad was the best rb in their house.

Disrespect nah, just not going to give him full credit....seriously....it must be hard to get 1600 yards a year behind 5 perennial All pro offensive linemen...

Emmitt was pretty without pro bowlers also.
