Holder in Comtempt...

Wonder if the Black Caucus would have walked out of Holder was white and the dead agent was black.

Unfortunately, the decline in civility continues. All they've done is guarantee that, when the Dems control the House and there is a Republican president, they'll find someone to go after, too.

I love how they all said there was no proof of wrongdoing on Holder's part. No kiddin! That's the whole point of this ordeal, he only gave 5% of the documents.

LG told us this vote wouldn't be taken before October.

BTW, seventeen democrats voted to hold Holder in contempt, in an earlier vote that allowed proceedings to advance to this vote, about twice that number of democrats voted to allow the iniative to advance.

That would seem to make this a bipartisan issue, especially since the dhimmis claim their socialist bills to be bipartisan if they get even one rino to vote with tham.

The voting isn't over and neither is the sending of the citation to a court for resolution. That will be well timed, I assure you.

It should be.

F&F and the resulting coverup should absolutely be an issue for Obama during the next four months. The GOP would be foolish to let it go to waste.

Holder should be tried in a criminal court for 1st degree murder.

All in conservative districts and had been threatened by the NRA over this.

Can you believe the lunacy surrounding that? That F &F was created so that this would happen to try to justify gun control?

They've totally lost their minds.

I don't think the DOJ was hoping that it would go down the way that it did. I absolutely think they were trying to prove the false claim that most of the guns being used in the Mexican drug wars came from the US.

That's not a conspiracy theory. One can easily draw that conclusion based upon the statements and actions of those involved.

Not buying it.

I am sure they were frustrated by the inaction of local prosecutors in doing something to curb the trafficking and were looking for some way to try to prove what was happening and outline the means by which it happened. And I agree that given the outcome it was not a good program.

But the notion that somehow this would justify gun control is ludicrous. Unless, that is, you want to support 18 year olds buying 10 AK-47s and unloading them to a drug cartel smuggler just around the corner.

If in that sense it was designed to promote gun control, then hell yes I'm for it.

You do know that the ATF was very much behind that sort of thing happening. Hope MacAllister pushed the idea that gun stores do just that. There are multiple cases where guns stores expressed concern about sales but were told to proceed. Dig a little, this isn't a secret.

*Oh, and an 18yo or most anybody else weren't buying AK-47s, which are Class III weapons. There are semi-auto only variants that share a similar platform that can be purchased. It's a nuance that people (like yourself) are either duped into believing, or worse, knowingly perpetuate for more dramatic effect.

That's stretching things a bit.

He is definately an accessory to murder and that carries the same penalty as murder.

Not only that Fast and Furious was one of at least four programs with the same intent.

So it wasn't just the DOJ, it included the US State Department and other cabinet level positions as well and close advisors to BHO in the White House.

Is this the first cabinet level appointee to be held in contempt of congress in American history?

Another one of those "Obama firsts?"

800 + gun dealing permits in that area suggests strongly to me that there was a problem worth addressing.

In this way? No. But hardly something to overlook.
