If not making the NCAA tourney for the 1st time ever doesn't bother you...or losing potential high level recruits cuz the coach recruiting them is on flaming hot seat doesn't bother you then yes....pointless. Not firing her now is taking that risk. She may very well make the tourney....but its a risk. Its all over the news she's on the hot seat. Recruits see this stuff.

Phillip Fulmer and 80% of the fan base couldn't care less about the Lady Vols. Fulmer's praying that they win so he doesn't have to deal with it.

Fuller may very well be praying that they win so he doesn't have to deal with it, but NOT because he "couldn't care less about the Lady Vols." His No. 1 priority as the athletic director at a major university where football is the traditional moneymaker is, OF COURSE, football. But it's so very wrong to accuse Fulmer of not caring about the Lady Vols. If anything, he cares too much, and that emotional attachment to Pat has probably clouded his judgement a bit. But I really think he'll be able to make the hard decision after this season.

She finishes the season 0-10 she will be fired for sure or when they have no tourney bid left to play for will Fulmer finally say look it’s not going how we all wanted so here’s your options. You retire quietly or I’ll publicly fire you and ruin any legacy you got left. Take your pick...
