Before the Stanford and Oregon St game a poll was released which had Holly's Pure Approval rating at 20%. After 2 huge wins, thought it would be interesting to see where the results now stand.
In respect to the previous pollster, I will keep options the same

I really do no have much faith in polls but Holly coached a hell of a game. She has that defense clicking, I believe that the offense will come around. They played their butts off and never gave up. I am proud of the Lady Vols.

I am proud of Holly by golly she really looks more into the game and is even giving much better interviews. Let's try to be as positive as we can, though it may be super difficult for a lot of us.

The poll needs to be: Satisfied, Unsatisfied, and Undecided. Not, don't care. If they don't care they won't participate in the poll.

The voters who don't care should not have voted because they don't care.

The ones who voted they were Dissatisfied, are simply people who don't like Holly for some reason.

At this stage of the season Holly has the Lady Vols playing at a very high level. There is no disputing that.

With that said, I am getting ready to watch another "washed up" VOL, by the name of Peyton, try to throw a football in about 45 minutes.

Holly is blessed and doomed at the same time. She is blessed because she was handed a great program and great players. She is doomed because she is following a legend and the overall competition of women's BB is improving exponentially. We can speculate that this coach or that coach would be better, but any of them would not be a sure thing these days. I vote to stick with our team and our coach until they prove themselves one way or the other.

I'm feeling a little better about Holly because I'm seeing some things in her coaching that we've been talking a lot about on the boards here. I would have felt a lot better if these two big wins had been road wins like Pat used to do. However, she has to start somewhere.

A loss to #3 Texas (ranking still in question) and UTC were not ideal, but crossing off Rutgers, Stanford, and Oregon State is good work. Gotta credit her for the run. Holly's had them ready for the stretch, too. The Texas A&M and especially the ND game will show us how far they've come (that, and taking care of business against the other good SEC teams).

Boxer, where are you?!

 I'm celebrating another nice win by the Lady Vols!!

How about that win today small?? Did you get a chance to go to the game??

As far as the poll goes, I'm voting satisfied obviously!! I think Holly and the team have done a great job rebounding from those early season losses. Now the real fun will start with SEC play!!

Got there late (Christmas gathering) but saw the second half. Good win, what I saw looked a lot better than how the posts read on the thread. Good adjustment at half time, and I loved the hustle! Recorded it and came home and watched. Just as good as the first time:dance2::dance2:

Those early loses we didn't have Izzy, and the suspensions really hurt us; took a while for the girls to get back in the game. It's looking better now, if Jasmine gets OK.

You can count me as a switch from disapprove to approve. They've had a pretty good three game stretch that while not necessarily the play of a final four type of team, has shown improvement from the beginning of the season. I'm gonna be interested to see how good the Stanford and Rutgers wins are by the end of the year. Oregon State looks like the best win of the three.

Anxious to get a start going to the SEC to see some semblance of a hierarchy this year. Nationally so far, absent UConn at the top, it seems like a huge cluster. And no, I'm not convinced yet on South Carolina.

With the Vols it's about how you end the season, not how you start. The last couple of games have been encouraging, but we haven't been to the final four in six+ years. That is the measuring stick.

The team definitely hustled more and seems they wanted to fight for the win. I loved the play where 3 of our gals were diving on the floor that eventually turned into a turnover that we scored on. I do think Holly is rotating her players in more effectively. I'm not sold on the offense. You hardly ever, if ever see a play ran to free a 3 point shooter when we need one. Most of the time it looks like everyone is freelancing. Osu looked to be running the more efficient half court offense. But, a win is a win.

Ok so here is my opinion. I appreciate the hard work the players have done in the last few games. I truly believe they want to win. My problem is the way in which we are still not a very consistent ball team. Our offense is totally as roddo said freelance community center basketball. We have the talent to get this done against so-so teams. When we get against seasoned teams, we know who they are, we cannot get away with church-league basketball and expect a win.

this. I'm between satisfied/undecided,

but I decided not to vote because I would put undecided in the poll

Does anyone every consider what the outcome of the UTC/Texas games would've been if Izzy plays?????

She is our best player by far, and I honestly think we win both with her. We are not a team full of "go-to" type players, so when our one doesn't play, it reflects in the outcome.
