Holly is doing what Hart is wanting to do...

We should have gotten Dawn Staley. She is turning South Carolina into the next Tennessee.

Dawn Staley hasn't gotten a team past the Sweet 16 in how many years as head coach? Holly has outcoached her the past two years and has gone farther in post season tournaments in two years as a head coach than Staley has in more than a decade as a head coach. Admittedly, Staley reeled in a wonderful 2014 recruiting class, but two of those players were local catches (Wilson, particularly) who were likely high on USC from a young age. Who has Staley recruited for 2015?

Do you hear that? That's the sound of crickets chirping.

Give Dawn Staley the resources and tradition Holly was given, she wouldn't have lost to UTC. Your argument fails. Dawn Staley worked and learned how to be a head coach. She wasn't just given a job by riding coattails like Holly. There were plenty of LV fans on VQ crying boycott and "Fire Hart" if Holly wasn't hired.

Where did you buy your crystal ball? EBay?

Staley's team very nearly lost to the University of Southern California a few weeks ago.

Dawn Staley worked and learned how to be a head coach.

And Holly didn't? Isn't?

She wasn't just given a job by riding coattails like Holly.

Holly didn't just ride coattails to get this job.

There were plenty of LV fans on VQ crying boycott and "Fire Hart" if Holly wasn't hired.

There are plenty of LV "fans" who cry "fire whomever" if the wind blows the wrong way up their asses. THAT'S your current "tradition."

Buncha Negavols in here. I support the team and the coach. You all aren't true fans.

jk. But in all seriousness, Holly is probably gonna be around a couple more years at least. Would like to see Tyler do good at LaTech and come take over the reins if Holly doesn't get it together. Then everyone is happy...if he wants to do that. He may want to build his own legacy somewhere else, but I think he loves UT. He needs to prove he's a great coach though. Don't want to be in a situation where you have to fire a Summit.

Actually it was kinda like a coach in waiting. Especially with the sudden and sad news that Pat received.

Didn't she basically lobby for Holly to take over?

I'm confused!!!!

Are you suggesting that Pat wanted her fired or replaced?

I don't recall Pat not supporting Holly.

Please provide substance if we are wrong.....

Hey madbama, this is not about losing a game to UTC, it's the people who are pissed that they lost their Lady Vols logos and have been waiting to pounce on the culprit (Hart) at the first possible chance. The team will bounce back and these sore heads will hide until their next opportunity. BOOK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:boobies:

Chattanooga might be the No. One team in the nation with all those new freshmen.

Tyler is not going to win this year he doesn't have the players to get it done. We will see if he can recruit and win in the next three years. If he is ever on the Tennessee radar it would be at least five years down the road.

Tyler doesn't have to recruit............ he hired his Momma's recruiter....DeMoss. Mackie was THE recruiter for that staff and will recruit well in her home turf.

Stop worrying people. Holly will get us to the tournament. I think we have a very good shot at top 32 too.

Why is it when the team does an outstanding job, it is a full team effort, but when the team loses, it is always and only the coach's fault? To a reasonable person, that makes no sense, but then, I'm not sure many of you are entirely reasonable. It takes an entire team to win, and it takes an entire team to lose. Holly wasn't the one missing layups or failing to pull down rebounds Wednesday night.

well the coaches are the ones getting paid good money to put a competitive team on the floor but failing.

Remember the good Ol'Daze when we had a very good shot at Number One and anything less was unacceptable!! It certainly "appears" to be OVER!! :hi:
