Holly isn’t handling the termination well...

Does your halo light keep you awake at night?

It really does. And the older I get, the brighter the light gets. It’s rough, I’ll tell ya! And sometimes, like right now, it’s so bright I can see clear into the future, and I can already see that I’ll never, ever give a rat’s behind what you think of me.

And those headaches you’ve been getting? Just loosen up that MAGA hat a little and they’ll calm right down. :D

Ugh. Holly is a delusional loser. As far as staffing changes go...didn’t she make Kyra Elzy her scapegoat the last time and everyone thought all would be well after she was gone? Did she think she could just continue to fire and bring in assistants every time she accomplished new program lows? Unbelievable. It’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault, EVERY ONE ELSE’S fault EVERY. DAMN. TIME. Good riddance!

I feel like coaching under Pat all those years really sheltered Holly. Had she gone on to coach somewhere else sooner, she would’ve probably gotten fired, realized that she couldn’t coach her way out of a brown paper bag and could have made some changes to take her craft seriously. She’d probably be able to land a pretty good job by now but being hid behind greatness all those years really shielded her from seeing her flaws.

The school is no more obligated to give her another job than any one of our employers would be to give us another one if we continually failed. #SorryNOTSorry

Well, I see Holly having the mindset of being a victim in all of this. I would bet money that she is a Democrat and I also bet that her thought are that she was fired because she is female or because of her age or because of her religion or because of her sexual preference or that it wasn’t her fault but her players railroaded her.
She will either continue to think this way or maybe when the shock of being fired wears off, reality may hit her and she will realize her role in being fired
Let’s give her a few months and see if she has Hillary’s attitude or if her attitude is one of accepting that she played a role in it

Hmmm... If we have to bring a political view or analogy into this, someone might say that Holly was acting a lot like Donald Trump: Making bad decisions and blaming everyone else for them. I wouldn't, of course, because politics obviously has nothing to do with this.

Please for sake and sanity of everyone here, let's not bring politics into any of the conversations here. I could care less which way anyone votes but politics have invaded everything. I want to come here and get away from that not more of it. Ocoandasoc I'm not calling you out specifically since you were obviously just responding to someone that was injecting theirs. I'm just trying to make the broader point.

She's a sorry excuse for a coach and apparently just as sorry a person. Can't even address the team speaks volumes about that loser.

People assuming they know a person that they don't know well enough to certify them as a loser always makes me shake my head. Says more about you than her. I am by no means a Holly defender but you need to back it down. She had a job and she failed at it. She is not the first and won't be the last to do so. She is not a sorry person or a loser. She was simply a bad D1 coach.

Just count your blessings it’s the light from the halo and not the flickering flames. Right @T_Vol376?

Gloating about someone getting fired is as low class as one can get. Talking about how smart and mature you are is as narcissistic as one can get. Throwing out your political opinion or bashing one for a difference in opinion is as ignorant as one can get.

I’m just looking forward to who will be the Lady Vols next coach.

Their summer coach will be their next Lady Vols coach
I definitely can be there tomorrow

Exactly. And just the point I was trying to make. (Though perhaps with a little too much snark!) Sports are a refuge from political divisiveness -- let's try to keep it that way.

You really are goofy, and not very perceptive with your assumptions. Not hard to imagine after your hot take on avoiding opinions on a message board.

All that said, right now, while the eyes of thousands of curious outsiders are looking and reading and listening to what Lady Vols fans are saying and posting in response to recent happenings, is NOT the time to show off just how damn ugly we can get as a fanbase
Wait a sec, the ugly fanbase did not invent this thread. This thread started with a tweet from an AD mouthpiece displaying some residual ugliness surrounding the end of CHW's coaching tenure, calling her out for failure to address her team. Which in and of itself seems ugly on her part.

So once again, the ugliness is not the ugliness, our talking about it is the bad thing? I guess we could shut up and not discuss the soap opera unfolding, but I don't think our discussing it makes us look worse to whoever cares than the actual thing that's going on does. Not like no one would know about if we just shut up. Hyam's tweet was a real thing. AD has gone public ugly.

Not at all. Again, your perception skills leave a lot to be desired.

Do they really? Oh my god. How will I EVER get to sleep tonight, what with all that bright light and the new knowledge that my perception skills leave a lot to be desired! o_O

Interesting. Low on creativity, though. Practice a bit and get back to me if you ever discover yourself being witty. You are outmatched at this point, though.

I’ll wait right here until you show us all how so very witty you are. Go ahead and attach the links.

I know as well as anyone why message boards exist. However, there ARE times when it may be more wise to NOT say everything we’re thinking on a message board — just like we sometimes zip our mouths in real life conversations when we get the urge to speak an ugly truth out loud.

Yes, Holly has been fired. She’s gone, and now the AD is busy finding her successor. As one of the fans who was highly upset and disappointed when it was announced that Holly — whom I had less than zero confidence would be a competent head coach — would succeed Pat, I am beyond THRILLED that the Lady Vols will be getting a sharp-minded new basketball coach soon.

All that said, right now, while the eyes of thousands of curious outsiders are looking and reading and listening to what Lady Vols fans are saying and posting in response to recent happenings, is NOT the time to show off just how damn ugly we can get as a fanbase. No matter how justified we feel in ripping the former coach a new one and verbally setting her out forthe vultures to pick her bones clean, doing this surely doesn’t make any current candidates do anything but think, “Jesus! Those people are brutalizing a Lady Vol with a jersey in the rafters. What would they do to someone like ME?! DoI really want to place myself and my family into that ugliness?”

Eyes are on us. Do we really want to be those ugly vultures?

Get over yourself........most of those "eyes of thousands" are getting a good chuckle at you as I type.
