Holly on Kortney Dunbar

I think Holly has a touch of what Pat has. I would like to see Holly's grades while in school at UT. I really do not know how she could have passed her courses. She said the last few days she has mean to get Dunbar in and she cannot remember to do so. Didn't the little freshman "Jackson" go in about two minutes and score two straight baskets. Why didn't she go back in. Something is wrong with Holly's memory.

it has to be Dunbars Defense,if I remember right,she has been mainly on the court when there playing Zone Defense,which must mean that her woman to woman D is terrible

that is my guess or she has done something to get in the Dog House that we don't know about and Smokey isn't sharing any chain

We give up a lot of uncontested baskets with our current defense. If they played the press all game they may be better defensively. Otherwise, since the offense can not score very well against the zone, I would play those who can shoot the best from 15 feet out or an/or the three.

That makes too much sense.

Holly ain't thinking about that, though. Because she's in over her head and she's determined to take the Lady Vol program to the depths of no return.

You need players that can drive the ball and kick to a three point shooter or get a couple of screens on one side of the lane and take it one on one to the basket. This is the best two solutions to scoring on a zone.
If you have a post player that is mobile you can get her open and get a pass into her but I haven't seen that we have that.
I get so mad when we dribble out the clock or stand and look inside then pass and look inside then throw a turnover inside or force a crazy shot.

You get mad, I get mad at seeing the dribble out the clock or stand and look inside etc.

But one has to wonder? That has been happening all season long and yet Holly doesn't get mad or change that bad habit. I wonder why?:crazy:
