Holly responds to Geno...

The best answer came from the NCAA who found nothing that Geno suggested as abnormal for the student athletes. I am not a fan of the NCAA overall but they would probably be quick to respond to any charges that they deemed true or with merit. In this case just a loud mouth that only knows one way to behave.

Let it go folks
Holly is yesterday and Kellie is now
Let it go

Yea but when what is being said can affect TOMORROW’s recruits it can be hard to look over sometimes. What I will say is look at the source. I fully expect a coach to take up for their player but it’s weird that one coach thinks he had a case while the other coach of a player who transferred didn’t. I’m not saying someone’s perspective of how they were treated isn’t important. But, just as important is yes there are two sides to every story and that’s what CHW said.

The boldest thing she did in that interview was say “hey nobody is going to say details so drop it and let it die down”. Because she knows it’s true! Because the first person that opens their mouth will get rebutted. No one is going to sit idly by and allow their program, families, or players be attacked.

I don't see where she was out of line. I am glad she spoke up.

I understand your feelings, but I have received two ESPN alerts since yesterday about this, because of her response, with each one of her “not fair”. Instead of going away, I feel like it is just extending the story. I respect your thoughts though.

You might want to edit this post. The LV's are not the penultimate women's basketball program. Unless you know something that I don't.

No need to edit. If you can't understand the post then that's your problem. As far as knowing something you don't, well that would be plenty.

She didn’t rip into Geno. She was respectful but too soft. It’s a no win situation for her. Phil is the guy who needs to rip up Geno. He should call their AD and put a muzzle on that Italian douche!

Geno will be retired or dead before the Volunteers women's basketball team is relevant again.

Did he recently retire or die? The LVs may not be at the top of the rankings but they are relevant. This is why they still get articles and ink on ESPN this is why top players still put them on their lists because of their relevancy to the game and the history of the game. We don’t see a lot about ODU or La Tech. I guess my point is your post was probably a tad bit off base with the relevancy piece. After the down years they just recently had UT will still probably be in the top 5 attendance when other programs in the rankings can’t crack 2-3k fans per game.

So I guess I owe Geno a congrats on retirement or I owe a condolences to his family and UConn fan base ?

Not even close to ripping into him. If she did I might actually gain a little bit of respect for her.

This is so stupid, but it is still comical.....

The facts: Westbrook wants to transfer from a lousy LV team and coaching staff.....Our administrations agrees, and does not stand in her way.....Bye bye.

Westbrook is told by NCAA she has to sit out a year, like most transfers...So she applies for a waiver, saying our program is toxic, but wants our school to help her play this year by saying, in her opinion, our program is toxic, etc. etc. etc....

Then, because our AD won't go any further in helping Westbrook trash our program and get a waiver, he's some kind of devil to some Uconn fans....... I believe those are the facts.

This is worthy of a Dave Chappelle routine...

This is why IMO you never respond to this type of stuff. It’s a mud hole fight and looks pathetic to the rest of the sports world. Now if specifics start to be released then at some level you address them but to wrestle in the mud with Geno over general accusations is totally fruitless.
Plus, as they say, the pig likes it!

The criticism to your post was not presented in the best way. I have used the word penultimate when I really meant ultimate or the very best.
