Honestly, why are democrats pro government and abhor freedom?

In short, there is very little different between either of the major political parties. Democrats want socialism in an instant and Republicans want super government drug out and put in place over time.

Either way, this country is going to hell in a hand basket because we elect pimps that whore out environmentalism or morality as a way of controlling their voting bases.

My personal trust level.

1.) Common street whore
2.) Lawyer
3.) Republican
4.) Democrat

they've brought plenty of alternatives to the table, but without sufficient numbers in Congress and a media all to willing to go along with the democrats' soft tyranny, the GOP's smarter alternatives to jackass socialism gets drowned out.

MG answered this but here's my .02.

You are buying Dem talking points if you say they are simply claiming "leave it alone".

R's had an alternative stimulus plan that when run through the administration's predictive model actually showed better job growth for less $ but it was rejected.

R's have alternatives for the Energy Bill and R's have alternatives for HC Reform. In all cases, Pelosi has locked R's out of participation in crafting bills.

In short, you are listening to talking points too much :hi:
