Is coaches honeymoon over? I know we're gonna have growing pains, but his coordinators and play calling have certainly been suspect..

This is gonna take 3 years minimum, does our fickle fan base give him that much time? There's already people calling for his head, smh

He lost me today.

He won me over in the off-season, but not pulling Peterman with a chance to win the game in the first half was awful.

I don't like this read option junk, but I'm willing to give him the benefit. He better recruit better than Fulmer though. And Hurd and co better look good in this offense he is installing.

Butch has got to win me back at this stage.

You're right. Let's just start over. Let me guess.....you think Gruden really wanted the job and Hart screwed it up. Amirite? Genuis......please post less.

I couldn't agree more. It's time to stop the talk and start letting us see some kind of improvement !

I'm sure Butch will lose sleep tonight knowing you don't approve of the teams performance.

we will have around a top 16 ranking in recruiting, I damned sure hope we get better on both fronts! ( It's still early in recruiting and I can promise you these guys are seeing what we are the same ole silly defense and offense..some will jump ship)

Make improvement with what? you have to have clay to make a pot - and right now every SEC team has the talent to piss in our pot

Perhaps he's tired of blindly following coaches that have given him no reason to hope that we can win any game of significance. Perhaps he wants to be given a reason to have faith in his head coach. Can you really blame him after the last several years?

I'm not a Butch hater and I'm hoping he's the next coming of the General but as far as team performance, I've been underwhelmed.

Their game plans have been atrocious the last two games, it could be the shock of them being in big boy football for the first time. I hope it's all a talent issue!

He has 3 years no matter what happens but it is fair to at least critique the coaching staff since they are still getting 100% of their paycheck.

This is the worst tennessee team I've seen. And we have GOOD PLAYERS!!!! What the f.uck!!!!!!

Yes, Vols should have won at Oregon and Florida

It pains me to point out how wrong you all are. We lost two games that we were expected to lose. Get over yourself.

I'm afraid this team is Common Law....no honeymoon, just 11 youngans, a Coon Hound and a little rocky bottom land

Not to be disagreeable but it's not the fact that we lost it's how we lost. Just sayin'.

And how was that? We were at least in the game until the end. Can't say that about former coaches. We played a tough game against a better team. We have crap for talent this year, especially at QB. Only real negative I saw today besides the loss was our O line, they kinda disappointed me.
