He is the leader of that team and has overcome more adversity than anyone else on that list. He is the epitome of perseverance. He’s a winner. He isn’t running a 4.5 and he is most certainly a game manager. Hooker had to execute for every bit of 60 minutes to get his wins. Kirby played the #1 team in the nation and barely asked Stetson to touch the damn ball.

Well, we have different definitions of game managers. I have never included in that definition people who were athletic enough to extend plays and outrun SEC defensive backs to the endzone. Jake Fromm, Jacob Coker, Greg McElroy those guys were game managers to me. Stetson Bennett is not.

Bennett played against 2 top 25 defenses. Mizzu and UK. Neither team was good. Bennett struggled against both teams despite the talent gap being massive.
