All you're doing when you cheer for other SEC teams, especially our big rivals is helping to make them better for next year and the next & the next. It won't Help Tennessee if people like vandy Florida Alabama Georgia South Carolina etc. win their bowl games!!!

Exactly. This sec pride stuff was interesting in the 90's and early 2000's when the conference got very little respect. There is no plus for Tennessee for any of our rivals to win now.

Some of our fans are just plain dumb. They have 9 guys with a 4* ranking, two of which are CBs. Foreman is a 3*.

I'm not sold on Vandy winning this game. Is there an easier path to 8 wins than the one Vandy took this season? They beat a terrible UT team lead by lame ducks Dooley and Sunseri and their SEC west draw was Auburn and Ole Miss. Aside from the weak SEC west games, their non-conference wins came over Presbyterian, UMass and Wake.

I will give them credit that they're better than typical Vandy and that they beat my favorite team this season but their best win was over Ole Miss.

I agree. I look at each game involving an SEC team and try to decide what is best for Tennessee. Most of the time, that involves the SEC team losing.

I can assure you that was not there number 1 recruit. Vandy has a top 15 class. Foreman has a 2 star ranking. No stars don't mean everything but vandy has a nice class and foreman was by no means there top one.

He may turn out great for us, and i'm sure they hated to see him go but to say he was there top target is simply false.

To answer your rhetorical question, no, their record this year is predicated entirely upon smoke and mirrors. Their best performance was against us and they narrowly defeated a Missouri team whose strarting quarterback was knocked out of action early in the game.

Making excuses for why another team is winning is embarrassing. Who cares about Vandy? Butch is about to win 8 games and I don't care if they're all against winless teams! GBO!!
