I am surprised... He has the ability but has not yet played up to the hype, JMHO

At least there is one Vol on the list and I hope he overcomes his inconsistencies to earn that honor. Maybe by seasons end we will have a few more on there...

How is Brandon Knight all-sec whenever he hasn't even played a collegiate game yet...

Good to see the Great White Hope vote out in full effect. All three Florida players on the second team are superior to Parsons.

I hope the order of those selections doesn't imply hierarchy. Not because of Scotty, but because of Chandler Parsons over Trey Thompkins psssssshhhhh not even close.

Ever hear of alphabetical order? It's all the rage these days.

Knight is not the dynamic scorer that Wall was, but he doesn't turn the ball over either. He is a better floor general but 1st team without playing a game... I don't agree. Hopson should be where he is, but he should've been there last season with more consistency. This is all potential as no games have been played, so I take this about as far as the O-rank during my fantasy basketball draft Monday night

I imagine it has nothing to do with another freshman PG that was 1st team SEC preseason last year also. This isn't the 90's, freshmen can play. Tobias should probably be listed 2nd team as well.

Don't be so certain on your assessment of Knights scoring ability. He is 3 times the shooter Wall is. If he stays healthy, I think he will break the UK freshman scoring record set by Wall & Cousins last season.

He very well might, especially if Kanter doesn't get healthy.

But that wouldn't mean he's better than Cousins and Wall, it would mean this version of UK has fewer options.

I don't have a problem with him appearing as 2nd-team all-SEC, though.

What's with all the Florida love on that list....they need to prove it first give me a break. They were one game away from going to the NIT again last year.

HF, I should have said not the same type of scorer. Kid can shoot, but he is not going to break down the defense and attack the rim at will like Wall could. He will be more heavily relied upon this season IMO than Wall was if for no other reason last year Bledsoe could spell Wall or provide that second scoring option in the backcourt. Miller will have a breakout year IMO. If he improved the consistency from outside, he will be a handful. Especially with Knight hitting him on the dribble/kick

Wall has rare athletic ability I haven't seen since D-Wade from the PG position as far as absorbing contact, finishing, and capping off the 3pt play. Knight is a more traditional PG. I stated things a little sloppily. Trying to fit posts in between real work. lol

As step said above, he is not the player that Wall is. I don't want to keep throwing sticks in you spokes, but I still think your a little off with Knight. If all people have seen of Knight is hoop mix tapes and all star games, they are not getting the whole picture. Knight is fast, and he can break you down on the dribble all day long. I think by SEC play he will be a force.

Miller has added about 15 pounds of pure muscle, and his shot is getting smoother. He was able to blend last year, but he has no choice this year. He has to be aggressive with the Ball and lead.

I think Tobias should be on that list. I think he'll have a good year.
