Mcbee and I'm assuming Wooldridge will need to step up if Hopson is out a week. They are capable of it as proved by Kansas last year.

man people a guy makes a few shots and he steped up ,i wonderd last year why he got to play and this year just proved it he shouldnt be on team ,he should have went to walter state or somewhere,if he could shoot the ball like the former maryville and flordia gator he was a good shooter, mcbee isnt to me he looks like one of those 11 year old kids at a highschool game running and shooting at halftime,i dont understand how players that were in highschool between 84 and 88 where 10 times better than mcbee ,guys that were same size as mcbee but who could do 360 dunks and dribble better than golden and most of the current vols and shoot almost as good as chris loften almost ,and the tennessee teams in those days werent even close as most of the ut teams from 98to present but none played at any d1 schools ,i went to lmu in harrogate tennessee were belmont,s coach was our coach me and a fellow rotc student were in the gym playing i was a 5,11 guard who played guard but could defend most big guys cause i bench pressed 5 sets of 5 starting at 300 going up 15 pounds till i got 360 and squated 600 pounds and leg pressed 1000 pounds 1 or 2 times and put 330 pounds over my head and my friend was 6,6 and team came into practice and coach ask us if we wanted to play and ofcourse we said yes.it was an awesome team we were as good if not better than that years ut team the starting line up were all between 6,3 - 6,6 our shooting guard was from harlen ky was6,6 could shoot as good as loften but had a longer range he was very good out to 27 feet quiet often could have played on any sec team except on his act he barely got his name right maby not quiet that bad but not much better but sure could shoot lights out the small foward was 6,4 could shoot very good but not as good as nick but he pinned several shots upper corner of backboard and the rest of team was good too

Is this real life?

Well, I did have a football coach with two bad knees who swore on the Torah that he could dunk as a 7th grader... and had never played basketball. Also, as a freshman in high school during a double header he had 3 home runs, 3 triples, 3 doubles, and a single.

So, sure, why not.

Rob is saying preliminary X-rays are negative, but they will wait for swelling to go down and take more tomorrow. Said he is doubtful and wouldn't be surprised if he misses Bama game too. This is terrible news.

We should be fine without him in the next two. We definitely need him for the UK game. As long as it's not a high ankle sprain, he ought to be able to make it back for that one.

Disagree. It's going to hurt because our team is going to struggle even more so against the zone. Auburn has been playing well of late, and Bama has played very well lately. From the sounds of it, it's closer to the foot, and they are worried about a broken bone.

If we can't beat Auburn and Bama without Hopson, then we have big problems. If it's just a sprain closer to the foot, I'd say we'll see him back fairly soon.

Rob says doubtful so we will see. South Carolina, Kentucky, and FSU should've beat them too. It's not good losing your top scorer. I agree that we should beat Auburn handily still. The Alabama game worries me a bit more if no Scotty.
