No one cares that vandy says anchor down. He'll they even have incorporated it into who they are. Do we suppose to just believe it's because they are sailors.

But maybe just maybe if someone from the opposing team said anchor up every time they made a play on Vandy then heads would explode? But why would anyone bother? The Vol sign has existed since the late 90's and has never caught on because.. our fans aren't lame. Texas (as a place not just the school) is weird guys just accept it. Compared to A&M and their weird cult cheering thing.... the kids from Austin are almost normal. I do not think there are more thin-skinned fans of any college than OSU and UTjr. Most Volsfans would have no idea what you were doing if you did an upside down vols sign.

Long time Sooner fan elated to join your conference. I am really looking forward to war time each weekend at some storied venues. I was taught as a 10-year old in 1965 what the horns down meant to both sides.

If you want to perform a root canal via the anal cavity on UT fans it can be done in 2-unique & legal ways.

One: Throw the horns down when you play them and especially anytime you get into a TV shot at any sports contest. If you see a longhorn hat/shirt on the street or beach, throw it!

Two: Refer to them as tu.

The Heuple situation is very poorly understood outside the athletic department. He is still a God here and is welcome in any manner always.
