That's the thing about guns, if someone wants to grab a gun and just start dropping random people, or get in their car and do drive bys on random people - there really is nothing that can stop them. Murica.

He’s politicizing basic common sense as opposed to the lies of the gun control lobby. Gun control laws where this crime happened are some of the toughest in the country, and they haven’t worked because gun crime there is as bad as it gets.

Some people are bought in to the agenda and don't want to hear the truth. The thugs don't obtain their guns legally and certainly aren't ever giving them up. Gun laws only apply to the law abiding citizens, which highlights the absurdity of all that political jargon following a shooting. Furthermore, the existing gun laws are capable of preventing many of the highly publicized shootings; if ONLY they were enforced. BTW, Thanks for the back up.

You need to study the specifics of this situation as you are woefully misinformed about how tough gun laws are within just a few miles of Chicago and how guns stream in to Chicago from these nearby, lightly regulated areas.
