Looks like Ole Miss is going to bust a Nutt fairly soon.

I heard a rumor from a friend of mine that is an Ole Miss fan that Nutt will coach against Georga but is gone after that.

When it comes to offensive lines, you can't get much better coaching than Hiestand. Not many offenses are gonna do so good vs Florida's line and linebackers, they're explosive. Nutt is done for

You see his piss poor run blocking sceme....WTF r u smokin?

WTF are you smoking? Poole dances around like a fairy and tries to create a play that isn't there. He never runs straight...it's just zigzags or some stupid route. Man up and bowl over people for God's sake, he's 220 lbs running full speed and you can't tell me he can't knock down some linebackers or anyone?

He has a young offensive line genius. You cannot find a successful offensive line that is this young, it is a position that takes time and experience. Heistand is a successful NFL offensive line coach that recruits love, and he will be here for years.

I very much agree with this. To further add to what you said, how many all-conference or all-american lineman are sophomores? I'll tell everyone...NONE. They are either juniors or seniors (mostly seniors). This is proof that lineman take a few years to really develope up to their full potential. But with that being said, I'd like to see alot of improvement in the running game as this year progresses.

Florida's oline has all redshirted players, 1 RS senior, 1 RS junior, and 2 RS Sophomores, The back ups are also all redshirted. Redshirts are a lot different on the oline because strength is such a factor. A redshirted year, the player can really focus on getting stronger, even during the season. Not to mention behind all our true sophomores we have even more true freshmen or sophomores. I think our oline is just weak right now and it will take more time before we can dominate like we wanted.

There is no way the Richt should be on the hot seat......to me thats crazy.....

Spoken like somebody that wants to keep Richt around a while...I agree! Richt is a great coach!

I don't know if Nutt should even count because I think he's as good as gone. His seat has already disintegrated. He just don't know it yet.

Unless they make miracle turn arounds (which I doubt) Nutt and Richt are gone. Nutt was a horrible hire, Richt I think is a decent coach but just cant seam to get it done any longer. Now, Hiestand verdict still out I know his last year in Chicago I'm pretty sure he was NOT going to be retained thats how we got him and we got him for $200K which was far less than some others on our staff and most NFL position coaches demand alot more than that so may be his resume looks good but not sure how good he actually is just yet. I thought the pay we gave him was a little funny. I know for a fact that Hiestand came to UT via referral of Jim Chaney (thats who wanted to hire him). Hopefully CHH turns it around (or well his players turn it around).

Most of our line are true sophomores. That means they are just barely over a year out of HS. Most offensive linemen don't play a lot this early. Ol is a position in todays college football that depends on physical strength, maturity, and time spent learning from the upperclassmen. These guys didn't have the privilege to do the last one of those and are still babies when it comes to their position. I would say they worked on pass coverage this summer much more than they did run blocking considering the skill position players we currently had/have and I would expect the same. I don't want Tyler getting broken in half. They will get better as the year progresses and there is a positive in all of this. They will get stronger in the offseason each time and will be the most experienced o-linemen in the country when they are upperclassmen. .

Joker, after 3 weeks of unwatchably anemic offense against terrible defenses. This week against UF we will not score at all.
