House Dems about to ask for Trump tax returns

Harvard is the best university in the country. Several presidents graduated there. I'd say that school has done as much for our country as any university.

Oh, I'd be more even and say all the ivy leagues have bent the country over and done it with gusto. They are the place where endowments kept the powerful in power, and now where entitlements keep the unqualified moving in the right circles. "Best"??? Hardly likely; "best" is often confused with "notorious".

Mnuchin won't give a straight answer, there's a shock. But obviously he will resist it.

Aside from the legalities, Trump repeatedly promised to release them, and has not. I think you would have to be a pretty big fool not to suspect there is something in them. At this point, I'm thinking they would not square up with the financials he submitted to banks. So either he defrauded the banks or engaged in tax evasion. Maybe both.
No different than the OBama birther movement.

Carry on.

You have absolutely no idea what makes a great university. You need to remember all the scientific and medical research they've done. along with all the Nobel prizes their faculty won. If Harvard isn't the best, then who is?

No, it is a guaranteed means to make a large salary when you graduate or to get into any graduate school in the world. They have the best MBA school in the coun try. You need to put down the conservative propaganda crack pipe.

By the way, did you graduate from UT? Or any college?

You sound like a nihilist. Are you also a communist revolutionary because they said stupid things like you just did. Pinko!

Some a hole covers a few colleges in the article and you can find the link zepp posted.

But that was not the story. Who cares what someone thought the story meant. It definitely was not the article, which definitely did not call for the First Amendment to be abolished.

But that was not the story. I asked for a link to the article. Who cares what someone thought the story meant? It definitely was not the article, which definitely did not call for the First Amendment to be abolished in American society.

To be fair to the good nurse, the original Harvard editorial was linked in the Daily Caller article she posted.

Did you read this article? She is referring only to free speech within the classroom. Who is the DA who thought she wanted to destroy the First Amendment. There are some seriously dumb people on here.
Plucky lil thing aren't you? I'm of the opinion academia should allow any research to fall on the floor of public opinion to be observed, debated on and commented on. You start shutting away research that isn't liberal approved..... You verge on being just a propaganda indoctrination machine. Debate often happened in the lunchroom at my college.. Not the classroom, away from a hole professors.

Then you could simply not comment if you did not care, that's always option C.

What exactly are you talking about? First of all - I made no comment on nor did I endorse the student's ideas. Secondly, your idea doesn't work because a lot of research is proprietary - it either belongs to the professor or the school or a corporation that funded it. Some research results can make people a lot of money. You can't force people to give away their ideas or make their research public. And that has nothing to do with liberalism - that is actually following academic policies and state/federal laws.

I did read the article, and I even read the Daily Caller article. She is not advocating for suppression of the first amendment.
She is advocating for ignoring suspect, biased, and reactionary research on campus, which I think is a slippery slope. Prove them wrong, ridicule them, but don't silence them.

Agreed.

I agree. No speech on a college campus should be suppressed.
