yeah, I probably will too. Linder is just about the only voice of responsible tax reform in DC.

Maybe I can go after Murtha's seat. All I need to do is move, find some hookers, loansharks and grafters, get my picture made with 'em, and I'm a shoo in.

If I can get this anti-social grump personality down and get my wife to do the same, we'll have the Linder's down pat.

Just move slightly south into Jim Marshall's district. If a slightly dynamic Republican actually runs against Marshall, I think he's toast.

I don't. I think if he remains exactly where he is, he will remain in office. He's a decorated vet already plugged into the whole military connections in Congress. I don't think with Robbins down there anyone would support turning that seat into a freshman in a minority party.

Is that the Jim Marshall who was mayor of Macon? He taught me Property when I was a 1L. Man, I heard some stories about him while he was mayor but there's no way in hades I'd write 'em down.

Yes indeed - that's him . . . And I've heard those stories too.

He won last week by 1,500 votes. In this district, I'd say he's vulnerable no matter who he's connected to.

Does Marshall have Saxby's old district?

For the most part it is Saxby's old territory, but the lines have been redrawn so that the district goes from the Tifton area all the way up to Covington. The district is about 30 miles wide and 200 miles long.

Had Saxby stayed in his district no matter how it looked, the GOP would have that seat still and I'd be working and living in DC full time. %#@%^$
