Anybody else watch this show? I'm hooked. It's basically everything I hoped Newsroom would be.

I pushed through it in a few days. Love how Netflix recognizes how customers watch and released it all at once (hopefully the same for Arrested Development). Kevin Spacey is great, as expected, but most of the other characters feel a bit flat to me. I've felt the anti-hero/antagonistic protagonist theme from Hollywood being pushed too much lately, but with this story/writing it just fits perfectly. Can't wait for the next season.

Noticed they also added the British House of Cards from 1990 that this is based on.

That's pretty cool. I've actually got to the point where there's only a couple of shows that I watch week to week. Most shows I just wait til the season (in some cases the entire series) is complete and watch it all at once.

For instance everyone at work keeps telling me I need to watch the Following and the Americans but I will probably just wait til the first seasons are over and watch the whole thing.

A lot more people are watching that way these days. It's a lot easier to find a block of time on a weekend and watch 2 or 3 hours of a show than to schedule a time every week. Netflix is smart for releasing their original content this way. Nielsen ratings don't matter to them, just total views.

Yeah, you don't have to work up a fever pitch for the next episode in order to maximize the commercial viewing audience. It's a convenient model all around.

Definitely worth watching. I think it highlights the role of lobbying in our government really well. Shows that $$ makes the decisions in our government, which has lead to the shape of our country at this present moment. Cocaine and hookers are a perfect combo

Watched 3 episodes last night.

Kate Mara is so hot. I just don't understand why all of a sudden she starts totally flirting w spacey.

She used sexuality to get an in and then all of a sudden was so overt it didn't make any sense. Kind of discredited her character for me.

Would def want her to try and bang me though.

Anyone else going to marathon watch season 2 this weekend? Girlfriend out of town for the weekend, and I can't wait! :dance2:

2 episodes in and loving it, but just wondering if anybody else thinks Kevin Spacey is as overrated as I do? I hate his accent...it's too cartoonish. The writing is amazing except when they have him talk to the camera.
