Still has to go through the Senate before these trillions get flushed down the drain.

I'm not going to hold my breath that it won't. The Dems are pretty much going to pass this thing no matter what Americans want.

You can actually blame pro-life conservatives on this one. By getting the abortion restrictions in, it cleared the way for conservative Dems to approve it.

Nice going.

People are starting to wake and rise up. They don't believe what they read in the paper and see on the network news channels. Hopefully, this will get repealed.

What's funny is that the dems would not have the opportunity if not for the displeasure that people had with Bush and the period of time when we had the R house/senate. Now, we have dems all the way around, given the opportunity because people were so fed up with Bush and the other Rs, and they are running nuts with it...passing every piece of liberal legislation they can get their hands on and then some. They are going to be up for a rude awakening and the country will be in for more bad policy (just on the other side of things) when we flip hard here in a few years. This is like a really nasty positive feedback loop.

I understand what you are saying here but, the Dems have enough votes in the House that it really does not matter what Rs do. And these "conservative dems" who voted for this crap can probably expect to find another line of work next year.

It only passed 220 to 215. The conservative dems most defintely helped it over the hump.

It's looking like the majority of Dems will be looking for new work next year. Of course this country is full of sheep and short memories, so we'll see.

This is exactly what I was thinking. People can say what they want about Clinton, but having him in the White House with a Repub controlled Congress didn't work out too bad. At the very least, it is much better than having either party control the WH and Congress.

Having either party have too much control is disasterous.

First major step towards socializing our country.

If this goes through, our Defense spending well be cut, significantly. Our taxes will go up, as will unemployment.

Sad thing is, a lot of people that voted for him, are starting to realize what they voted for.

Whats even worst, he told us he was gonna do it.

With all due respect we are already a socialist country and have been for quite some time. I think this is another step toward communism.

My disgust for the idiots in control just tripled. Who the F do they think they are?

They think that they have to control every aspect of our lives. The think we are too dumb to run our own lives. Its all about control, they want to control us in every way.

They have good reason to think that... look at most election results for the last 70 or so years. (Reagan not included)
