How bad is the ACC in football?

The two "best" ACC teams both got *****-slapped by mid (to lower) tier SEC East teams today.

It's about time to review their qualifications for an automatic BCS bid.

It sure says alot about the ACC when their division champs can't even beat teams from the bottom half of the SEC East!

Dear ACC,

You should be replaced in the BCS by the WAC or Mountain West.

they should have a rule where a conference doesn't match up to "standers" then they can be replaced by another conference...thus the WAC and the MWC would replace the Big East and the ACC.

I have to admit I was rooting for both the ACC teams today. However, it was nice to see that sorry conferences two championship game representatives lose too mediocre SEC teams the week before the championship game.

I wasn't rooting for either team.....but it was nice to see their two championship teams get it handed to them....ACC SUCKS!

Because of their scheme. You prepare all off season on defense and then one game you have to change everything. Kinda like AF and Navy with better talent.

What a joke! Both (ranked) teams come into their conference championship off of losses to middle-of-the-pack (unranked) SEC teams. I'm sure it will be a packed house! Oh, and I'm sure the TV ratings will be off the charts. Good luck with that one, ACC... will it be a Raycom game? Noon?

I think the Big East is much worse. And 8 teams? Have you seen their OOC games? Give me a break.

It's awesome here in ACC country, people are in total Meltdown mode on radio call in shows. It's sweet for me bc of all the crap I've been getting after the Gas Station incident and the Ole Miss game. So we beat the two teams that beat the ACC Divisional winners by a combined score of 76-32. The ACC is a joke of a football conference and other than Duke's win vs. UCONN Friday, the bball teams are struggling in OOC games.
