Seriously, we could of gotten damn near anybody in the country to coach the Vols after they let Fulmer go and we landed a scumbag that still has us scrambling....

Let me think for a second, yep I hate him!

Not nearly as bad as Derek Dooley. Harder to get back up when you've been pummeled to the mat twice.

If Fulmer was allowed to retire gracefully we could have anyone we want. What message does it send when you see Coach Fulmer recieving HOF award and potential coaches realize we fired him?

We should sue Hamilton for Dooley's buyout. That was reckless to give a losing coach that sort of compensation package.

Kiffin turned out to be a disaster because his dream job came open and he left in the middle of the night at a horrible time.

Hire Dooley was pouring tons of gasoline on a small fire. The Dooley hire is the one everyone should be more upset with. He had no business being our head coach, even in the circumstances.

We really have to let CLK go, to me the DD hire was far more catastrophic than CLK.
Ego and hast hired dooley not common sense

As much as you don't want to admit it, Kiffin would've had us competing for a NC by now.

Kiffin was a great hire. Anyone with half a brain knew he'd leave for USC. No one thought it'd be that soon

Yes DD was a poor hire but Kiffin put us in the position we were in at the time, scrambling to find a coach. What were we supposed to do? We needed a coach, I guess we could have hired an interim but Kiffin took his whole staff with him. I place this firmly at the feet of Kifffin, Dooley was wrong place wrong time.

actually the Sunseri hire was what was catastrophic,if Wilcox had of stayed,we wouldn't be looking for a coach and wasn't that because Hart wouldn't sign him for more than a one year contract ?

Even if we wouldn't be "competing" for a NC, we'd at least be competitive with the teams who are competing for the NC. Plus we'd have a senior and junior-led team with the most prolific offense in Tennessee history (Bray, Brown, Hunter, and Ambles)

That's exactly what we should have done. Not to mention a guy named Kevin Sumlin was very interested yet Hamilton got Dooley insetad. How'd that work out?
