I am happy for these seniors, but I hate they have to leave just when things are getting good! It makes me so sad.

We are a major program with many many resources. I’m a bit surprised but this University is built for this. It’s just the resources and right parts have to be in sync. Just think about it, We were close in 2016 with a terrible HC & coaching staff. I am thrilled but I can’t punctuate it with, not in a million years.

Butch had incredible talent, most of which he brought in. But, he couldn't coach. Heupel has done more with less than any coach I can remember. He lost a 5* offensive lineman, his #1 running back, two 4-star RBs, one of the most coveted LB's in the country, two other excellent LB prospects, a 4* safety, and a couple of pretty good DE prospects and then gets the team to #1. Its freakin' unbelievable.

I have felt numb all year can't explain it. It's hard to wrap your head around it, considering where we we're 2 years ago.

We have to help each other. I tried to remind y'all to enjoy it. (And reminding myself too.)

Me neither. But I’m 40 with 4 kids and they can’t believe a time before cell phones, internet and Bama not being on top of college ball.

I will be honest. I didn’t see Heupel getting us here. I thought he would get us back to winning 8 games consistently. I thought he would be a bridge hire. A coach that would fill the gap between us getting a high profile coach. I thought ok he will get us in the bottom half of the top 25.

I never imagined we would be where we are now. Just goes to show what can happen when you get a real coach who knows how to develop.
