How deep does this team make it into the tournament??

I say they make it to the elite 8 and then they will suffer an upset. This is not their year folks. Look to next year being this team's year.

If this teams plays smart can go a long ways. Play like we did against Kansas,Kentucky, and Miss State. But if they play like they did at Florida, and at Georgia we will get beat.

Georgia is a bad matchup because of having so many big men to throw at us. Florida knocked down 3 balls. Thats why we beat KY here is they couldnt shoot up there they pulled away from us at Rupp once Bledsow got hot from outside. Mississippi St is a much better shooting team thatn they showed saturday. We caught them on a good day.

Elite 8?? If we beat LSU, then we're in the Elite 8... Oh, wait..:unsure:. Where you talking about the NCAA tourny? How the hell could anyone know when you don't even know the matchups??

Who knows with this team. We could win the whole thing or go out the first round.

On another subject, I got to watch the Miss. St. game with a Miss. St. fan. So enjoyable!

It's hard to predict anything with this team. Anything from a 2nd round exit to a Final Four appearance could happen.

I really like this team, but I don't think our Lady Vols team matches up well with Kansas or UK men's team. Yeah, this is the LV forum.:)

Final Four and then it depends on who we play. If we are sent to Memphis I think the Final Four should be expected. I hope we get matched up against UConn in the finals...but I don't think it will be pretty.

Major stumbling block for this group is inconsistent play, mainly at the guard position. I really think that we will be beat out by a nobody simply because of our lack of play on a particular night. I agree we are a year or so away from having the swagger and recognition we had a few years back.

This thread is about the Lady Vols.....obviously people dont know what forum they are in. Lady Vols will make make the final four no doubt. Anything less than that is a bad year with this team this year. I would bet on a UCONN TENN matchup in this tournament. Tennessee has a very good chance at beating uconn. uconn hasnt played anyone like tennessee all year.

Ever heard of a team called Stanford? They beat us and UCONN got them. I do think we would beat Stanford if they were to play again and I think we can get UCONN if we catch them when Angie's hot and Cain decides to show up. Smack 'em in the mouth and see how they react. They might not like it.

consistency will determine how far they can go,I'm hoping they get to the Final Four,but I wouldn't mind an Elite Eight either,considering how young this team is,and I do think they can give UConn a run for there money after watching them play ND the other night

I watched parts of the ND game and a good bit of the WVU games against UCONN. I think the Lady Vols could have beaten UCONN on either of those nights. Both games were difficult to watch as I was hoping for a glimpse of this Super Team. Never saw it. UCONN was 30-20 over WVU at the half with WVU shooting 22%. One thing that I think UCONN does do well, is once they have a lead, they continue to build on it. I want to see a UT match up with whatever other team makes it to the final game. Doesn't matter to me if it's UCONN or not.

This team is clicking at just the right time, Brewer and Manning especially. I expect a deep run, Final Four or even beyond.

UConn stomped Stanford this year who in turn stopped Tennessee.

Doesn't matter who beat who beat who. See it everyday. Lady Vols have a very good chance this year.
