I was spent to spy for Oklahoma and learn game day secrets which could be instrumental in us defeating you in Norman this year. I was told to discover the magic of something called VolTwitter and how it can ultimately affect the coaching hires, bowl selection and unleash general mayhem on unsuspecting fan bases.

Actually, I was perusing the interwebz for information on your team and stumbled across this board a couple of months ago. Lurked, saw it looked interesting and decided to register since game day will be upon us soon.

The second paragraph sounds really boring, so I'll stick with "I'm spying on ya'll."

I joined a week after you on halloween of 2004. 787 users registered between us that week - I wonder how many of the users numbers under a 1,000 are still active.

Was that around in the early 2000's? That was pretty good for a while if it is the same one. The mods were pretty good. Then it just sort of went away.

I was also on Sportsparlor South. That was a hoot. It sort of went away, as well.

I have no idea how I found VN.

I lurked for about 2 years before Fulmer was fired and joined during the coaching search that ultimately netted Kiffin.

I was a poster on another site and that led me to this this one. I was given free reign to run my mouth, and back in those days folks weren't so thin-skinned and easily offended. We had some really good times back in 2003. Friday night "Party Threads", a weekly "Welcome" thread for new members, awesome "smileys" (now obsolete) and even an arcade! I wanna go back to 2003 VN!!
