How do you all explain this or feel about it

Actually pretty impressive considering who he has been throwing to this season. If he'd had been lucky enough to inherit last season's corp of WRs he'd probably have done much better. But it is what it is and 65% isn't really embarrassing for a qb. he lost Bru and Thorton really never did get going. The rest of them seemed to have had to relearn route running and catching the balls that hit them in the hands. Actually saw development in Joe this season. if you didn't ; you didn't want to. Those whining Nico oh Nico were and are delusional. Alas, Nico may be a beast when his time comes. JMO
Nico will be a beast but I love that CJH let him sit and learn from Joe about all The little details and ins and outs of playing Qb… nico’s natural feel for the game and playmaking ability is way higher than Joe’s so when he takes over next year he will do great but he still had a lot to learn about film and reading defenses and studying and pro habits and how to lead a lockeroom… joe 6th year senior loyal great leader all time great physical tools just isn’t a playmaker but he had not did anything to deserve being benched he has had a good season to this point not anything special but not bad at all… this was always the plan to let Nico sit a year he will likely be a heisman candidate next season I’ve seen all I needed to be confident in that… the coaches have to be right on 95% of calls with joe that’s tough as a play caller because joe has minimal improvisation skills but Nico much like hendon can turn a perfect defensive play call into a great offensive play due to his feel for the game, pocket awareness, playmaking ability, and athleticism and shiftiness in the open field.

Gotta be honest, Nico would have been much, much better off spending a year behind Hooker learning what it takes to be a successful QB in this league. Milton hasn't shown me that he's anywhere close to mastering the little things much less the big ones. I'm not sure what, if anything, Nico's been able to get from Milton. Will Nico be the "beast"? Dunno. Let's see how he responds when he's the starter and the bullets are live. Big, big difference in HS ball and college. Even bigger in the SEC vs the likes of UGA and bama. If they don't surround him with more talent, I think his debut season will be a rough one.

1. Our run game is way better and I'm sure Joe's rushing numbers are better.

2. Theyve played nobody.

3. Georgia sucks.
They have beat 2 of the 3 teams that kicked TN's rear, they don't suck. They will play Bama in Atlanta and probably run away with that one as well

I don't have much confidence that our secondary is putting any fear in Beck today.
With Pili, Hadden and Arion Carter out for the rest of the year it’s going to be a tall order to slow them down. The line started at -7.5 and has moved to - 10.5. Either way it’s easy money. I think GA wins by three touchdowns.

You would make a good politician.
I agree Joe will probably get drafted. But imo Joe is holding the team back, or it could be the oc. It takes too long for Joe to get the play in most of the time, he is looking for the play call and many times looks puzzeled as to what the play is. And on rpo he is not good at all, hands off many times when he should keep and run. If you have noticed most of the time at the start of the game when the plays are scripted ahead of the game, things go much smoother, it's as if Joe is slow in his thinking. Not meaning he is not intelligent, just takes him longer to process information. This of course is just my opinion. Also he is not successful much throwing down field, he connects on very few of them, and not many passes completed in the middle of the field. Its down the sidelines or screens.

I think Nico will be very good, however, even if he is, imo it will take half of next season to hit a good stride. Milro from Bama, look how much better he is now than at the start of the season, huge difference in Milro now than at the start, it takes a few live games to really get a feel for the game. This is why I would have lliked for us to have been up enough early in some games to give Nico more playing time than he has seen this year. I also think if Ga gets up big today, Nico should be brought in the 4th qtr.
