Now. I haven't cut the cable. But I do have my share of streaming capabilities.
HSI. Anything with 10mgs or higher is capable of streaming in HD. You won't be able to steam multiple things in HD. But it'll do the job and does for me. A good high speed connection is key. Nothing will piss you off more than buffering during a game.
I use Netflix for my kids and sometimes for shows that we can't find anywhere else. For the price it's alright. Hulu is also a choice, but I find it stupid to pay for something and have to watch advertisements.
Now I also have chromecast. One time cost and no monthly fees. Plus there are a ton of apps supported by it. Watch ESPN. ABC go. HBO go. Ufctv. Hulu. Netflix. Etc etc. They cast the show from your android phone or tablet straight to your TV via your WiFi network n your house. Again nothing less than 10mg is what I suggest for good streaming.
Now. Here is why I have Chromecast. I downloaded and off market app called hdcinemas. Found here.HD Cinema - Watch the latest Anime, Movie, TVShow, Cartoon in HD !. This will not work for apple devices. I use it with another free app found in Google store called local cast. HD cinema has tons of movies and show loaded and are updated quite frequently. I select the show and then custom stream. Cast it to local cast. And bam on my TV.
I would seriously check out a Chromecast if you're thinking of cutting the cord. Any questions. Let me know.![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
