This poll was mentioned on SportsTalk today so I am using the exact choices they had.

is this a poll? cuz i dont see any choices... my computer is prolly screwed up.
It took me a minute to get the poll done.

What is funny is that the choices aren't mutually exclusive. I guess you have to pick the one most applicable.

I also went with bowl game. Based on what I saw in the scrimmage my latest season prediciton is:

Losses: Cal, UF, UGA, Bama and LSU.

Wins: AF, Marshall, Memphis, Vandy, S. Carolina and Kentucky

Arky is a toss-up IMO but we should get the aforementioned 6 wins, which is enough for the #6 or #7 SEC Bowl tie in.

i think at 6-6, you get nothing.

i remember a few years ago, michigan state was like 6-5, and the comentators were saying michigan has to win this last game, because you have to be above 500 to make a bowl.

You can be .500 and get in a bowl game this year with the addition of the twelfth game.

Bowl Game is safe bet. If Ainge can get his head out of his :shaking2: then we have chance for SEC championship. I think Cut will get it done with him. Hopefully sooner then later.

Again boys I don't think we are there. I voted no bowl. I will continue to think this way until I see some fire and a desire to win.

no they were playing a 12th game. they couldn't finish 6-6. above 500 and nothing else.

and then notre dame had a 13 game schedule and finished 6-7 and they couldn't get in either.

Disagree. Even at average this year they will be above .500. We will either be 8-4, 9-3 or better. Everyone is reading too much into one lousy scrimmage. It will get better. Team will get better.

I think we will make a bowl. I hope the ones picking SEC Championship are right, though.

I think there is a 100% chance that 2.38% of us are crazy, right now.

I went with "No SEC Championship," because that's the yardstick, folks. You can't expect to win or even play for a National Championship every year. Too many variables, too many teams -- it simply requires everything to work out just right. However, in a conference of 6 or 7 teams (and yes, I left out the half that are irrelevant), we should be expecting to play in the SECCG at least every three years and win a title every 3 to 5 years. That's a reasonable expectation with a program of UT's stature.

So. . . ."bowl game" to me really isn't much of an accomplishment. We ought to be in a bowl (that you've heard of) every year. That should be a given. I'm hungry for titles.

I went with SEC title, I know its a longshot at best but....our 1 st 5 games are basical home games, its a favorable schedule and I believe the team is ready for a fresh start with a better attitude. I think Georgia and Florida will both be down this year...Georgia with qb troubles cheifly and Florida with basically a rookie offensive line. OK that gets us to winning the east, or a decent shot at it. I think the only team we lose to is LSU...imho

What evidence have you seen that we are not the same team as last year? aigne has not and will not develop into the qb everyone hopes he will be, our o-line is patch work at best and our coach has no control. our d is good as usual but they will get worn down because our offense can't stay on the field. Maybe I was being a little tough and should probably say a lower tier bowl at best

I got us winning the SEC this year for the exact same reasons. I just dont see Georgia or Florida being that good this year.

I have us in Music City for the Holidays. My gut says we beat Georgia but SC gets us again. The key is Cal, if we do not get passed them it could get ugly.
