How far do you drive to see Vols home games?

3 1/2 hours from northeast Georgia. Little quicker if traffic isn't bad

If I can make it to my first Tennessee game next season, that is the kind of place I want to park. Don’t want to get into any downtown or campus gridlock. I am in decent shape for someone who will be 64 next Fall. How far is the walk from the drop off point to the stadium. Would like to see some of the campus, Vol Walk, marching band before the game. When do the buses start leaving the mall?
They drop off at Thompson Boling. At worst, if there is much traffic, near the Baseball field.

I get on the bus about 3 hours before the game, but I think that some leave earlier.

3.5 from Bham but Chattanooga can add an hour or more some days
4 hours Huntsville, and yes Chattanooga is a real wildcard. Seems people can't drive good there for some reason. Seen more than one burning car being put out.

I'm guessing if you responded to this thread, you aren't a fan of the night games (if within a 5 hour drive, but not those within an hour or so). I do like going up and back. The Day games, I can catch a radio broadcast on xm of other games as I head home.

Now I drive ~4.5 hours from NE Georgia each home game, but used to drive ~9ish hours back when I lived in Florida. Left after work on Friday, rolled in to Farragut around 2-3am, took a nap, got up and hit the tailgate/game, and drove home on Sunday. That was 10 or so years ago...not sure I could pull that off now, haha.
I used to drive 6.5 from Savannah GA the first couple of years we had season tix (before kids).

Ain't no way I could do that now. Heck, I don't even drive the 3.5 back if it's a night game now lol.
