I feel like we had this same conversation a couple years ago but it was about all those young talented all SEC caliber first round draft pick QBs sitting on the bench. Where are all those guys now?
it is always the young guy sitting on the bench would be outstanding if given a chance.
Let the coaching staff develop them.

This makes sense but it simply isn't true.
As in that logic makes sense, but Heupel himself doesn't really follow that.

He just doesn't like to substitute if he doesn't have too.
If the offense subs then the defense gets to and that goes against his style. He only subs if he has to.

Had the “same conversation” when Evan Berry was backing up Devrin Young on returns and Marquez Callaway backing up Josh Smith on BOTH returns and as a receiver. While we’re doing cautionary tales.
