Had a friend say last night that the Duke star is the best white basketball player he’s ever seen since Larry Bird. I know there have been some great white players from Europe but I don’t follow it enuf to state an opinion.
Wish I was his agent because he’s about to be really wealthy.

He's definitely one of the best college players of the one-and-done era. I don't know if he's better than Carmelo Anthony or Kevin Durant, but he's up there.

Anthony Davis would also be in the best one-and-done player conversation.

Ultimately, how far Duke goes in this year's tournament will have a lot to do with how people remember his college career.

I dislike Kentucky as much as anyone but Davis was pretty much unstoppable on both ends of the floor.

Cooper Flagg is still really good though.

Cooper Flagg is the most complete basket player I’ve ever seen at Duke as a freshman. He is this weird blend of Grant Hill and Christian Laettner. He leads Duke in every major statistical category. The way he gets his teammates involved, while at the same time having the ability to takeover the game reminds me of Grant Hill. His competitiveness reminds me of Laettner .

Davis’s stats in college are hard to wrap my head around

62% Fg Pct
10.4 RB
4.7 BLK
1.4 Steal

I mean. There isn’t a major conference player averaging even 3 blocks per game this year. Not one.

He averaged 4.7!!!

He isn't even unlikeable like good Duke players (especially white Duke players) are. It's amazing.
