:hi: Well, all the hype about the "wonderful" Fighting Irish may be nothing more than hype. All the talking-head sportscasters have been claiming Notre Dame has returned to respectability by beating Pittsburg.

Did anyone notice that Pittsburg lost to "OHIO UNIVERSITY" last night??? :banghead:
Yes, that's right, "OHIO UNIVERSITY", not OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY!

So, Notre Dame beating Pittsburg may not be as significant an indicator as some would have liked to believe!!!!

:crap:

GO VOLS, STOMP THE MASTERGAITERS IN THE MUDHOLE!

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :td:

Either way, as much as I hate to say it, we should be Fighting Irish fans today because Michigan is ranked above us....If ND upsets them, we could jump in the polls

Pitt is a joke, as is Michigan's defense so we may not really get a good read on ND for a while. I think Quinn is a very good QB, but it will take Weiss a while to get them back where they were.

I agree, but I hate the fact that ND can lose 6 games straight and still be in the top 25.

I will not ever pull for ND

The great Ohio U with its 8 victories over the last 4 years.

Just think Hyamn voted ND 6th with his AP media vote

who cares if mich wins, they have a hard enough schedule anyways. i woudl rather not get too much higher going into the florida game. i want to stamp out any cockiness until they know they can beat a solid team the last thing we need is number three rankings agianst florida after the uab game.

if we rise, its okay, but if we dont, im fine.

If Michigan stomps out Notre Dame like I think they should, that and the addition of Pitt losing to Ohio should take the Domers right out of the top 25 for this week.

Milo, you might want to turn on ABC and check the scoreboard.

Yeah, I woke up only about an hour ago.

Well, Notre Dame won and their defense stopped Michigan. Henne was overshooting but still not that bad, and their running game just couldn't cut it.

I would say Notre Dame is definitley the real deal.

Well, I didn't wanna root for ND either but that's who won and that will help us out a little bit in the polls I would expect

I personally cant stand Ohio State, and I think Vince Young is one of the most exciting, and best players in college football, so I'm kind of in a toss up tonight. If Texas loses it helps out the Vols though, so I guess go OSU?

It will look better for us when we whip that a-- since they beat Michigan today. It seems like the stars are lining up for us so far. We just have to take care of business. It's time for us to show the nation how WAC Florida really is.

All these teams that are on our schedule winning could help us but then again it could bite us in the butt....Guess we'll just have to wait and see

VOLS317,
Vince Young looks like Brent Schaffer. The interception he threw in the second quarter was a Division II play.

I'll play the if game....

IF Hart doesn't go down, Michigan wins the game...their whole offense is geared around that guy.

I won't say I'm glad that Notre Dame won because I hate them to my inner core...but it helps our SOS.
