Rennia can't make a roster and Rae only got called off waivers due to half of the Sparks being out injured (status this year will be tbd, but the odds are not in her favor). So she has Horston (HS ranking #2) and Rickea (HS ranking #5) that were going to make WNBA rosters regardless of who coached them because they were both skilled and athletic before they even stepped foot on a college campus. It's not like she was able to make Jordan Walker or Tess Darby into a WNBA player because frankly no coach could.

Marshall was picked 9th in the Sun Belt and Caldwell won BOTH Championships in her FIRST SEASON. I think the UT Women will be just fine.

KJH tried to run transition all year, I can argue we were our best in transition. Her problem was a lack of athleticism and poor roster management in recruiting. Her problem was teams forced us into half court by controlling the boards and our defense did not turn them over enough to run.

This season we ran the floor like molasses in the winter months... Some could but most couldn't. Hopefully we can amend that thru the portal... And NIL, of course... Gonna be a fun team to watch when we recruit the speedy players...

This is true but either Kellie wasn't smart enough or else she wasn't skilled enough as a coach to defend the 1.1 second brain phart. The upside with Kim Caldwell is so much higher than CKH... I know you are butthurt by CKH firing but it's behind us now. We all need to move forward. Kellie is gone, Kim is our WBB coach and DW is our AD.... Oh, btw, Phil is gone also.

I have resisted saying anything negative about Kellie, her body language during press conferences or her inability to communicate her thoughts clearly and concisely. In comparison, I’ll give Kim a chance to acclimate.

Yep, 2 things were clear about the LV team: (1)when Rickea departs, it leaves a huge hole & (2) ball-handling has been miserable for a long time. I look for that to improve with Coach Caldwell's new offense.

Marshall averaged 16.3 turnovers last year, so not sure how much that will improve. The positive thing is that they turned people over 20 something times a game with their press.

1. It’s not that big of a drop off
2. Ball handling will suck when u play 3/4 forwards under Kellie (I hated this the most about her)

If it had been a good team Kellie would've won more. Easy to see where the teams problems are and they are now even more magnified with Rickea and Jasmine gone. Jasmine could be inconsistent, but when she was good she was real good at the point. So we need some bigs inside. We need another consistent scorer. Would be nice to get some players that could elevate team speed. I think were running 6th or 7th in the SEC right now. Big job to upgrade this roster three or four of the right players will do it.

U can’t think of this like last year. We may need 4 more guards…

I’m sure a player like Spear will thrive with a faster pace, but that’s if she stays.
