How hard is it to recruit a point guard who actually knows what he's doing?

I agree Pearl has been pretty good for Tennessee overall, but the current crop of players here are a little underwhelming. No point guard and not really having a low post presence, it just isn't there.

Scotty is doing all he can right now, had a great game, he just isn't getting any help from anyone and that is rather disappointing.

Rational post.

+ 1. I am sure you have about 200 other channels to choose from so stop watching. Tennessee has too many fair weathered fans! Go back to the days of Don Devoe, Houston, Buzz Peterson, etc... and let's be happy with winning 8 games a year.

You included DeVoe? Should we just assume you have no idea what you're talking about?

The irony of a Braves/Colts/Cowboys fan in Keystone, FL.

Anybody else surprised with Golden and Mcrae. Not bashing here, but I thought they would be good for 4-6 points each per game as freshman.

You are correct BPV, I stand corrected. DeVoe was before my time and should not have been included in that list. He was at UT before I was old enough to pay much attention. I googled his record and realize he was a trememdous coach for the Vols. I appreciate the correction.
:good!:
